It's hard to beat the feeling of finally getting that dragon warhammer at nearly 7k lizardman shaman KC... And I get to do it again thanks to the completionist logs. Oh well, it still felt amazing.

2. What was your favourite update during 2019?
 

It's a tie between the boss point perks (as a nice reward for long-term bossing, plus superior bosses!) and completionist log updates.

[Bonus question] What was the funniest IRL situation you were involved in during 2019?

 

Alright, this was kind of a cringe/funny-in-retrospect thing; I was leaving a 7-Eleven (I don't go often because there's not one really close to me) with my arms full of stuff, and there was someone leaned up against the wall on their phone outside so I took a wider berth to avoid like, bumping into them (they were between the wall and a cosmetic wall/pillar, so it'd be a bit of a squeeze). He calls me out because he thinks I did it that way because he was black (which I didn't factor in at all), but then it quickly diverged into how he could probably beat me at Smash or Minecraft. At that point I just kind of mumbled "Okay" and went to my car because I had no idea what just happened.

1. What would you like to see changed/added on Runex during 2020?

 

My two most wanted updates would be cosmetic armor slots (as in overrides) since there are so many cosmetic or otherwise cool looking custom items, as well as the menagerie for the POH. It'd be nice to be able to just store boss/skilling/Slayer pets there and free up some bank space, after all.

 

As for the max playercount, I'm going to guess 289.

[Bonus question] What was the funniest IRL situation you were involved in during 2019?

A friend of mine kept getting hit on through facebook by another guy. My friend isn't gay and is also married so obviously my bud turned him down. This guy ends up sending him multiple unsolicited pictures which my friend forwarded to our group chat and that was by far the funniest thing I've seen all year. I don't want to break the rules with profanity so i'll just say he was wearing a cowboy hat in some of them

1. What would you like to see changed/added on Runex during 2020?

I'd like to see the small things worked out. Ability to open doors in different areas, a world map, an actual selection of city teleports because making teletabs while not hard, seems pointless to have to do. Try to pinpoint the source of lag and DC issues and do what can be done to resolve it. Working out the little things will give the game a rounder, fuller feel imo. and I honestly believe these things impact the player-base in the long term.

Outside of that I'd like to see expansions of some sort to superior bossing whether that was by adding new superior bosses or by other means. Kharazi updates. A collection log point store, And a custom made Raids 3 consisting of custom bosses and rewards.

 

Thanks for making a great game lads. Runex is literally the only game I play 99.9% of the time

During my victory celebration for getting my crest legs i dumped my beer all over my computer and fried the motherboard and ended up having to buy a bunch of parts to fix it and i lost a ton of pictures and notepad files.

A: Id like to see a revamp to the upgrade chest, and also a rework on task scrolls i feel like elite and masters are fine but the three lower tiers are only worth doing for the achievement

Guides for people that dont watch Primon rs videos, literally where I learned most the game from. info tab is just not enough. Maybe more youtube content creators , since I suggested it ill offer to be the newest content creator for the server. +1

1. What was your favourite memory on Runex during 2019?

My favorite memory on Runex during 2019 was when I believe it was Klein was selling CoX leeches, and then one of the people who was buying the leech got a kodai 1kc and Klein was very salty about it to the point where he stopped responding on voice chat (allegedly, I wasn't on voice chat with him) and it was an opportunity for me and others to clown on him for a few hours/days.

2. What was your favourite update during 2019?
I joined late into the year, so my favorite update was the Halloween event. It, along with the community, got my hooked on Runex. It was a great money maker while it was around, it brought a lot of unique content that I hadn't seen on any other servers, and it was consistently giving me ideas to do in-game when the events changed.
[Bonus question] What was the funniest IRL situation you were involved in during 2019?
This is kind of stupid and annoying but at the same time pretty funny. Pretty much what happened was in my fantasy football (American Football) league a trade happened between two people who were mathematically eliminated from the league playoffs. The player in the trade ended up going off in the last week of the year and eliminating one of my friends from the playoffs. When this happened, my friend who was eliminated started throwing a fit. He was angry at me because I was the commissioner, and angry at the people in the trade, and angry at the world really it seemed. It was pretty hilarious seeing how upset he got over this for-fun league. It was also pretty sad because he's a grown ass man getting that upset over nothing really.

1. What would you like to see changed/added on Runex during 2020?
 One change i'd like to see in 2020 is maybe a different sort of holiday event. The holiday events on this server are great, and probably some of the most unique and rewarding content that I've seen in rsps's, however, I think they do get a bit repetitive. From what I saw in videos, and from the Halloween to Christmas event, it's pretty much the same thing over and over, but just with similar but different rewards. I appreciate all the effort, and it's probably really difficult to come up with ideas so unique and creative, but that's something I would enjoy seeing.

Don't have a favourite so to speak, I have met alot of people that makes it fun and engaging to enjoy the Runex content and I also love the friendly competititon

I started late in 2019 so not been around for many updates, however when i read though the update log my favourites are without a doubt the bank presets, could not live without them tbh. And also the boss point system, love that it keep on being added on, its a great way to boost morale to keep up the grind.

Started a new job and within the first 3 months there was a company trip to spain, most people who traveled was around my age (22) and it was awesome to travel around and experiense a whole different country, as that is not something I have been able to do before

1. What would you like to see changed/added on Runex during 2020?

Love the direction Runex is heading, also that there is no items that are looked behind a paywall as a ironman. So to be honest I dont have too much to add, saw the new sneak peak of a new corp pet. Don't know if that will be from a pet (u) box or a mighty superior corp but I love pvming, I love the collection log and I will keep on aiming to finish it. So tyvm for the great game.
Only thing i would want to get changed back is the slayer block system. My suggestion is that the slayer streak is only canceled if you remove a blocked task while having a slayer task, this will prevent people from just removing and blocking like they did before to keep their streak. But would be more "fair" for the people who still hunting slayer points for the Earth, lava and frost helmets.

I got twisted bow (raid box) and scythe of virtur (50 tob kc) in 1 week time.

Collection Log, this gave me the reasson to start a HCIM and enjoy the grind. Getting that "Log Completed" message feels so gooooooooood.
It is also very rewarding to do and I think it acts educational for new players to explore the server.

For real tho, I went out with this grill and during dinner I went to the bathroom and when I returned the girl was gone. As normal I waited for like 15 minutes, but then I got the feeling she wasn't returning. I thought she left me so I paid the bill and went home, when I came home I texted the girl that leaving me without saying anything was rude and unnecesairy. She didn't reply for days, so I thought Ok that's that.

After some days, I get a text reply back from this girl, at first I just ignored it, but curiosity became the best of me and when I opened the text, she explained that she went to the bathroom at the same time, she dropped her phone in the freaking toilet and went elbow deep in it to save her phone, but help got to late because she waited to long to get it (since she didn't wanted her elbow to smell like toilet water on our first date) But as anyone would do, she went for it and dried it under the handdryer for way too long, unfortunatly since it didn't want to boot up again.

When she came back from the bathroom, I was gone and she didn't have a phone to explain me what happend and a very smelly elbow, so she asked a stranger his phone to call for her parents to come pick her up at the dinner.

Me and the elbow toilet grill are still dating now and I think this will last for some time, since we've been trough the akward phase already and we had a good laugh on the second date!

PS.: The Elbow has been disinfected.

1. What would you like to see changed/added on Runex during 2020?

I know SPK is a thing, but tbh, I don't like the overpowered items on there.. They feel to OP. I think wilderniss content on Runex would attract more players to the server and make it feel.. less dead.. (the wilderniss).

This content can be for Pvmers or Pvpers. Make Pvming in wildernis more attractive meanwhile adding a bounty system for Pkers? Include a Wildernis Bounty hunter store with exclusive pking items or pking pets? I love the Runex items and the possibilities they create to pvp.

What was your favourite memory on Runex during 2019?  I think my favorite memory was when i completeted they 5 Emole daily for a prize chest and i went to the enchantment chest and upgraded it and managed to do so. I felt happy inside since this was on my ironman and seconds later when i opened it i got a freaking Zbow my mind was blown away and i was filled with joy.

2. What was your favourite update during 2019? I think the halloween update was my best update since i started playing more around that time and the ghoul bones into bonds was op prob got over 150$ in donator rank just from ghoul bones.

[Bonus question] What was the funniest IRL situation you were involved in during 2019?  Funniest situation was proably when my friend was about to get married and we had to prank him somehow so we kidnapped him while he was asleep drove like 260kilometers from sweden to norway with our friend in the trunk. After like 3 hours we arrived to our destination one of europs highest bungyjumps i think it was 163meters from a bridge between 2 cliffs. So we got our friend out of the trunk he was mad af we put on the harnes for the bungyjump on him and he was still blindfolded and we had hes hands bound between hes back. He stepped up on the platform to jump he wasnt sure where we were and what we are going to do. So we cut of the rope that was around he's hands and pushed him out from the platform so he started falling. He was screaming like a little girl and when we got him back upp he had pee all over himself. Well he forgave us now when he is married and stuff but proably funniest moment of 2019.

1. What would you like to see changed/added on Runex during 2020?

I would like to see a mythic donator rank like 4 or 5k$ a upgraded sponsor zone a legendary zone/able to skip tasks without blocking them back again for higher donator ranks or something. I also would love to see group ironman and maybe few more superior bosses. Also some kinda pet shop where you can sell/trade in your pets you got from promo packages since they are useless rn.

1. What would you like to see changed/added on Runex during 2020?

I think it would be cool to add a new mini-game. Something where we can earn something special like from the fight caves. I think it would be cool if we could form groups like raiding parties, but take on other teams. I can't remember correctly if this was on osrs or not, but they had a capture the flag type game, where teams Saradomin, Guthix, and Zamorak took eachother on and whatever team got the flag would win and get  points. Something like that would be sick.

My first time ever doing Chamber of Xerics in Runescape history.  I solo'd after 2 failed attempts and got Dragon claws 1kc.

My buddies and I were at a pig roast fundraiser event.  One of them was attempting to hit on a girl when a dude came up to him and started hitting on him.

It would be nice to see forum users get rewarded in game for posts, guides, helpfulness.  There is a lot of content in game and the current guides on the forums are out-dated or don't exist.  If you reward users for fantastic guides, it will improve forum activity and help out new players.

Probably the collection Log update, due to as I neared being comped and after I thought to myself whats next and collection logs is one of those things that are a hard grind and may take a lot of time to complete which will always give me something to do.

1. What would you like to see changed/added on Runex during 2020? More achievements added as the only one left after Completionist is Grandmaster raids which is going to take years, hopefully either Grandmaster raids gets dropped to 500 or a tier in between Grandmaster & Master at 500 to provide a better reason to do higher tier raids. 

Halos from Spawnpk: Charmed, Blood & Shadow added as cosmetic overrides like the partyhats maybe put them in the weekly/monthly contest shops for like 5 golden tickets or leaderboard points.

Beast master for me, having the opportunity to expand our "perks" into superior bosses, more drop rate, the chance to heal and having damage bonuses.

My favorite memory of 2019 Runex is Simon getting Tbow out of a normie solo raid. That was pretty amazing and great to see.

My favorite 2019 update the collection logs and boss points and the superior bosses. Really gave a lot more content and made it worth it to grind the more "useless" bosses like Kraken and Thermo Smoke Devil.
[Bonus question] What was the funniest IRL situation you were involved in during 2019?
The IRL situation was my friend was really drunk and he was sitting on the side of the deck (it was maybe 10 feet off the ground) he thought he was so bada** that he wanted us to shoot him with a painball gun in the chest because he thought it wouldnt hurt. We shot him and it hit him right in the nipple and he fell off the deck and landed in the snow.

1. What would you like to see changed/added on Runex during 2020?

A Runex add-on that I would like to see would be a custom raid that the developers make. It would be quite a big update and take a long time to make but I think it would be cool to see a raid that is just on Runex with some custom bosses. Maybe giving Runex armour and special armour or even colored dye that can be added to armour like Crestbearer.

My friend and I are walking around in the city ,we stop for a beer, then i tell him : fuck i really need to pee. I see a huge building and i decide to enter, i open the fisrt door everything is cool. i grab the second door but it's locked .. i turn back to find an other place, and find myself locked behind the two doors... i had to call my friend so he can find the security to unjail me 😅it took 20 minuts.. I was about to pee on the floor 😤
