    Qol suggestions

    I would like to many a couple of qol suggestions after nagging bout these topics ingame. 1. When teleporting to hydra, there should be an option to not show the warning about 'floor is hot blabla'. Is it possible for to add a 'do not show again' option? 2. Soul hunter reroll scroll. Kinda speaks for itself, working similar as the wanderer reroll scroll. Just because some tasks are for some lame, for some to hard, etc... 3. Add more tasks to soulhunter. This i say personally because my tasks are always kinda the same. Is it bad luck or are the available tasks rather limited? Every week i get reanimated kq, chaos mummies, reg KQ, corp. Kinda repetitive after a while. 4. Add more bosses to boss slayer task. Suggesting to add bosses like hunllef, chasmquaker, nightmares as bosses. Sidenote. Some of these suggestions might've been discussed in the past, but felt like these kind of things have some ground for changes following ingame conversations. Thanks in advance!
  2. Just some thoughts & Ideas I have that I've also seen other players talking about as well: 1. Add an enchantment into the game for event hunter gear / event pets with low success rates that increase token yield (would give a use to dupe pieces / event pets) 2. Add overall enchantment success vs fail rates (would give players a better idea of their chances compared to the current % system) 3. Similar to the previously mentioned event hunter gear enchants, add in skilling equipment enchants with low success rates that have chance to boost exp rate (ie for 5% to 10%) 4. Add in a skilling task streak system (would give players more of an incentive to not cherry pick tasks & actually do the tasks the skilling master gives) 5. Add a graceful set enchant into the chest (potentially need all sets dyed) + 1k marks (roughly) with new set increasing marks of grace yield + exp boost 6. Add skilling pet enchants into the game, with the result being a pet that gives an exp boost in their respective skills - could make pets that are easier to obtain like heron (sorry nota), beaver, golden chin, tangleroot, rock golem more modest rates of 20-40% success rate and give full pet sets like the runecrafting & agility pets 100% rates as they are obviously much harder to obtain. I believe this would give players more of an incentive to grind for pets & get multiple pets rather then just rcing them - can also add the materials of the respective pet into the enchant which could potentially make skilling supplies slightly for viable as a means for cash Overall I love what the server has done in terms of the skilling updates, and I know many want pvm oriented content but I feel these updates would further balance out the content on the server and give players more of an incentive to grind skilling. Let me know what you guys think or if you have any other feedback or ideas - or see any problems with these suggestions.
  3. Hello All, Throughout my time here on Runex I've come to see how the time's have changed, the economy's grown and the player base has rotated. With this in mind I have a few suggestions and modifications that I would like to put to you and gather some feedback on what you all think, it doesn't matter if your new or old. It just means you may have a slightly different opinion to other members of the community. It is important to note I have a very large list of ideas and these just touch the surface so I would love to hear idea any ideas that you may also have. Click the spoilers to see more. Lets get into it; Rune coin exchanger prices Rune coin items OR lack of certain items Controlling the server event rewards Donator Rewards The Donator Shop I haven't figured out what could be added that hasn't already been in here So I would love to here from you guys in the comments.     UIM Suggestions

    Added a number of suggestions to Logical's topic - however list is ever growing so creating new topic for further suggestions. Vote tokens to be added to currency pouch - to collect 25 tokens for example will take 9 days, 9 days of wasted inventory slot Some way to store crystal keys / key halves - have had to drop countless key halves due to getting like 8 loops in a row for example - nowhere to store them. Potentially an option to add to chest to gamble at 50% chance for other half? Addition of seed box A free/cheaper way to note supplies? If I am creating potions for example and want to store for later, would currently cost 1000 runex points per potion. Which is extremely high, seeing as I could go an catch imps for 10 minutes and rack up 100's of noted potions (which would be equivalent to 100,000 runex points)? Seems silly that the main way of getting potions to store for later is via hunter rather than herblore? Same goes with food and planks. Option to disable un-note confirmation - alot of time wasted and very repetitive Menagerie to be added to POH to allow for storage of pets - else UIM are limited to a single pet unless taking up inventory space - only other use is for runecoins Ability to unote on premium bankers and any other npc / chest that can be used as a bank Ability to store essence pouches in POH Issues found so far: Barbarian fishing rod lost on drop - unable to retrieve No way to note mass items. Figured that it would cost 1M runex points just to get gilded burners in house, as no way to mass note herbs/supplies. Therefore it would be 1000 Runex points per Clean Marrentill as there is no way to farm noted clean
  5. Noting / Un noting. -> We should be allowed to unnote on the Banker, as well as Anyone that has donated $10 or more on their accounts should be allowed to unnote on the Premium Banker. Magic notepaper. -> Notepaper should cost 50 runex points instead of 1,000. We're gonna get a bunch of items and if you don't restrict the exchange limit per day in the rune coin exchange our inventories just fill up. along with crystal keys and the halves. Herblore potions -> If you're not going to let us note every item, thats respected. you're not allowed to in Oldschool Runescape as well. But, you can note unfinished potions so I feel as though we should at least be able to note unfinished potions. Costume Room -> Add dragon chain-body to the Armour box. Add all Varrock Armours to the EXP / skilling box. As well as some of the items you can buy from the Achievement store. Add all xeric's capes to the cape rack. @Ryan @Ramzi @Nate
  6. Ultimate Ironman So this will be going over all the suggestions Ultimate Ironmen should have and hopefully how it'll work. Feel free to suggest other ideas and if I like them enough I'll edit them into the topic giving you credit for your idea. Kharazi Island -> I believe your Runex inventory should be held by someone when you enter the Kharazi Mini-game so you go back any time you'd like. And if you have 28 slots filled in your inventory and leave Kharazi Island they will by a Kharazi withdrawer where you can only take out items instead of put them in because that's what the actual Kharazi bank on the island is for, essentially like the opposite of a deposit box. Storage & Banking -> On the topic of storage, I know the famous "Zulrah bank, Vorkath bank, and looting bag death" are somewhat of a trouble to code in so I thought you could put more use to both the Golden looting bag and the Grand looting bag. I feel as though both looting bags should work pretty much the same way (excluding their previous abilities), when you have items in your looting bag and want them in your inventory if you click the use option on either bag it'll come up with a withdraw option which will look pretty much the same as when you want to deposit items from your looting bag into your bank. I feel like this is fair as coding the other "banks" is just going through a lot of work and these tweaks could really help. In general you should be able right click use on an item and use it on a bank booth and it respectively turn into a bank note (as long as it's an item that can be noted). Rune Coin Exchange -> I feel like every mode should have their own benefit but because of some of the rune coin exchange items will actually be very useful like both looting bags and other items that will help very much will add up to a lot of rune coins. So I thought Ultimate Ironmen can have a 30-50% Discount. If you actually implement this I suggest making it so Ultimate Ironmen cannot be reverted into regular accounts to prevent rune coin farming excessively or a penalty of some sort. It gets repetitive farming rune coins so it would be helpful to make them more easier to farm on UIM accounts. Costume Rooms -> People want slots for most items, although that'd defeat the purpose of not having a bank, although I do believe some items that you might get lucky enough to get an item early game you might need late game and know you're going to die going for a different unlock before then. I feel elixirs should be added to the Costume Rooms & be able to stack items. Say I get x2 of x drop, Just because I have two of one item means I need to either drop trade it or waste an inventory slot? Certain slots should have a cap but that's for you to decide. Rogue's Chest -> Nobody wants to pay for protection, Nor do they want to farm to get herbs for making potions of whatever they need. I personally know many players that don't want to have 20m+ exp in farming/herblore/fishing/cooking just to get a decent amount of supplies to last them. Nobody wants to have to pay to get supplies from Rogue's chest so they don't lose anything and the fact that you can't even log out because you have npc's attacking you at all times doesn't seem quite fair.     New Minigames

    Hey there, So I did some minor research about Runescape and what our server may be able to have in regards to minigames. I do apologize ahead of time if I state any that we may have. Following minigames I think would be neat to add: 1.) Great Orb Project - I think this would be a great way to make Runecrafting a little less dull (no offense) and also bring something new to the skillers that are in game. You could maybe make a custom skiller outfit or maybe even adding the robes that you retrieve from the original minigame and also introduce the Omni-staff and Omni-talisman. Which could maybe even be an achievement diary section? I looked into it and realized it is before RS3 so this may be a possible addition? 2.) Castle Wars - Well for starters who does not like Castle Wars? It is entirely nostalgic, plus it gives players a whole new different minigame to play. I do know for a fact that this is before RS3 because I remember playing it in Runescape in 2005. One thing I see in other servers is they have an achievement where it’s like “win 10 games of castle wars” and etc. plus we have a large amount of players that I am sure the games will actually be quite decent sized and well used. You may even be able to host different events regarding castle wars? Who knows? 3.) Custom skilling minigame - I think it would be neat to add a custom skilling mini game. One that is not seen in any other server that could make the server more unique and attractive. Not saying the server is not already, but it would give some extra BAM! You could also make some new custom skilling gear only obtainable through the minigame that skillers can flaunt about. It would just make the the server more diverse and add an extra level to the gameplay. These are some suggestions. Feel free to comment below and thanks for taking the time to read it! -Dragon 9616

    Pin possible solution

    Hey there, Recently, in like the last 48 hours of me being on here. I legitimately feel I have seen a lot of “pin reset please” “forgot pin” and etc threads. Now before you cut to the chase. I’ve pondered a bit about this in terms of how people may react. “Maybe they should just write it down next time” “maybe they should get a better memory” “it’s their own fault for not remembering” “if they forget their pin, their punishment is waiting” and possibly more responses like this. However the situation though, constantly keeps occurring, so maybe there needs to be a backup plan or a possible different solution? What I was thinking could be a possible solution is maybe when you make your pin and you don’t write it down or forget or rush or think you have it memorized. Implement some kind of notice or warning pop up asking you to have the pin sent to your email associated with the account and/or forum message. This could be an automotive message as well so that staff do not have to worry about this and can focus on other issues at hand. now the pros and cons are as follows: PROS: 1.) Less clutter on forums to deal with about the issue 2.) Takes up less time from staff having to deal with it so they can work on something else. 3.) Players do not have to wait for their thread to cycle through and waste minutes or hours of precious grinding. CONS: 1.) Bugs may occur where maybe the pin won’t actually get sent to the email and then staff will have to deal with it then. This is all I can honestly think of. Please let me know your opinions on this.     Forgive me if some of these have already been suggested Most are (QoA) suggestions Upon using the ::donate command, the donation page should have all Donator Rank prices & Benefits described. $10, $50, $100, $500, $1,000 Add ::commands - this either directs you here OR shows a list in-game instead of having to go through the pop-up URL. Add ::max/hit - provides you with the highest hit you're able to do with the current gear you're using. (Works for Magic,Range,Melee) Add ::altar - Provides players with a list of Users Online that have an Altar for players to use for prayer exp. (Not even sure if this is possible?) Add ::loot - All of your loots from monsters will show in your chat window (red text), perhaps green text when you get a rare drop? Add ::switch - Switches your prayers through a command, instead of going to the Chaos Altar @home. Add ::barrows - Just like how we have a ::duel, should be the same for Barrows mini-game. Add ::latest/updates - Takes you to our latest UPDATE thread! Example; A player asks in-game "What was added in the latest update?" --> Check ::latest/updates Add User-titles (Obtained through Achievements), Customer user-titles sold through the donation store for a hefty price. - Inappropriate user-titles will be dealt with by a staff member? Perhaps a ::title command that opens a title configuration menu! P.S-I would donate $50-$100 for a customized user-title. Add ::shops - Teleports you to the General Store. Would be beneficial for new players who are finding their way around the server. Add ::modes - Provides you with a list of all the bonuses/benefits for each gameplay mode (Normal,Supreme,Prime,etc') Add ::guides - Directs players to the guide section of the forums - This will likely increase the forum activity, which is a must for this server. Add ::remind - This will tell you how long you have until you're able to Vote again! Example; ::remind --> You have: 10 hours & 12 minutes until you're able to vote again! (Add Donator Ranks on the forums) These items should have a brief description of their bonuses while in inventory, not just in the store upon buying them. (Some people have a hard time remembering bonuses) - There's a huge list of items that need the descriptions, here's a few; Elixir of Luck, Greed, Dragon, etc' Holy Wrench Slayer Helm(s) Bonecrusher Gilded Cannon Ring of Wealth Achievement items in general

    hey I was just training and felt like putting up some suggestions for you guys to get more content suggestions on the server(not that there isn't a ton already). . osrs mode 1x rate-with added benefits . infernal axe and pickaxe or adaze . skilling points-like runex points when killing a monster but you would get from cutting a tree etc. . more multi combat training zones . a special weapon that gives x% damage----x% slayer point boost----x slayer point rewards after the task . staff of light . rune pouches, coal pouch, rune pouch, gem pouch, looting bag . fun pvp zone with added in-game rewards hope you enjoy the suggestions,cheers
  11. Dagannoth king rex has and will always be safespotable even in regular runescape and jagex has accepted it, why should it be against rules here?

    Shooting Star + Evil Tree

    Just a quick suggestion of adding the shooting star, and Evil Tree, even if there is no rewards, would just be a nice way to train Mining, Woodcutting + Firemaking, that is... If this is even possible to implement into the server. Many thanks, Croyzz

    Forum Suggestions

    This suggestion is for the forums. 1) Make the appeals, help, reports and bugs hidden from normal users. Reason: Hiding Appeals and Reports would help others from commenting on them causing more issues Hiding the Help section would ensure that the staff are the only ones posting there since thats their main area for positions. Hiding the bugs would help keep the bugs maintained and not alot of people knowing about them. 2) Add the ranks to the forums Reason: Donator ranks show that we have a community thats active also adds a benefit for the donators; Also makes the forums a bit more colorful. Other ranks encourage more forums activity and allows people to have goals to achieve on forums. 3) The theme of the forums Its an okay theme, but i feel as it needs to be me unique; (i can make up a design if you're interested) More to be added, Just got to think of some.
