    Suggestion

Add a type of castlewars minigame where the rewards are different colors of dye for different pieces of end game armour. Or even things like pets, icons, capes, etc. Would be fun to have a pvp minigame that is non-risk and also rewarding to do.

    Grand Looting Bag Update

My suggestion is to simply add a feature that automatically deposits the contents of the Grand Looting Bag when attempting to use the "Last-loadout" option and and when choosing a load-out. The Grand Looting Bag is a powerful item to have, however it comes with this two major flaws that need a quality of life update. 1> The purpose of the "Last-lodout" update (super super helpful) was to make it much easier to refresh your last inventory. However, if you use a Grand Looting Bag it completely nullifies this feature, even with 1 item inside the bag. Instead, you're forced to do 4-5 extra steps every time you want to load your last load-out. 2> When in your bank you generally swap items around, grab supplies, organize your resources, etc. Generally when I am done perusing my bank, I select a load-out to go on what ever adventure I desire next. However, from it's common that I forget to deposit the loot from Grand Looting Bag. When I select my new load-out, instead of being ready to go I must instead go back to my bank, click the Grand Looting Bag, deposit it's contents, go back to my load-out GUI, and load the load-out. I genuinely hope this quality of life update will be added. Thank you for reading

    E-Corp Horn (work in progress)

Recently the Corporeal Beast had a change and with that change there is now a chance for a server boss to spawn called Corpethereal Beast (E-corp). E-corp has the same drops and more as regular corp but at a better drop rate as well as a few added benefits. While at a corp mass we started talking about a item that is called the corp horn based off of the enormous mole horn that you get with sponsor tickets in the sponsor zone. The E-corp horn would do exactly the same thing except with the new corp boss except you would combine a grand crest to the e-mole horn to upgrade it. Currently with the e-mole horn it doesn't offer any benefits other then spawning the mole but with the e-corp horn it would give a range between 5-10% drop rate (up to you we couldn't agree on anything) to give incentives on actually blowing horn (rich get richer and server gets happy). Pros: grand crest pieces and grand crests would rise in price Crest bearer pieces would rise in price (again rich get richer) Less wealthy players that are able to leech at e-corp have a chance at loot thus making some money Cons: less likely chance for there to be corp masses Sigil drops might drop in price as well as intrinsic shards This is still a work in progress and is very open to being changed but Me and others that play the server think this could be a interesting addition -Blind
  4. I'd like to suggest some improvements to the skilling tasks, as somebody who does them a lot and plans to do them a hell of a lot more! 1 - First off block and prefer tasks would be nice - rather than the current system spending points to guarantee a certain task, it in my opinion defeats the point of doing the tasks in the first place. 2 - Smithing tasks should not be to make bars, but to smith items on the anvil and turn those in instead. Reason being that smithing is a hard and long skill anyway, and I doubt most people want to turn in bars without actually using them for optimal experience first. 3 - Agility tasks should include rooftop courses, constantly getting the wilderness course is annoying to me specifically as i'm an hcim, the runex points i'm using to skip these tasks is accumulating a lot and I think it'd be nice to steadily do agility via tasks. #ADDED 4 - Hunter tasks should consist of catching wagtails and chins rather than just being impling tasks alone. Or maybe entirely. Personally i'd like a mix but maybe that could be discussed if these changes are taken into consideration. 5 - Thieving tasks should be added, too. Open to feedback regarding these ideas.
  5. I have a suggestion that I feel should really be implemented. Currently, if you logout for any reason during raids, you're kicked entirely from the raid, no matter how long you've been in it. You could be on the first boss or you could be done with Olm and going to loot. All your progress is for nothing. My internet consistently resets and when it does I'm logged out. If this happens during a raid, I have nothing to show for it except time wasted. My suggestion is to add a way for your progress to be remembered\recorded when you logout, so when you log in again, you can start where you left off, however the individual boss is reset to full HP. You login at the beginning of the raid, but don't have to do the entire raid again. For example, if you disconnect on the second boss, you will start at the beginning again and have to do the second boss again, regardless of progress. You won't have to do the first, though. I've probably lost upwards of sixty raids because of disconnects and\or my internet resetting, so some kind of fail-safe for when this happens would really, really be appreciated.
  6. Ultimate Ironman So this will be going over all the suggestions Ultimate Ironmen should have and hopefully how it'll work. Feel free to suggest other ideas and if I like them enough I'll edit them into the topic giving you credit for your idea. Kharazi Island -> I believe your Runex inventory should be held by someone when you enter the Kharazi Mini-game so you go back any time you'd like. And if you have 28 slots filled in your inventory and leave Kharazi Island they will by a Kharazi withdrawer where you can only take out items instead of put them in because that's what the actual Kharazi bank on the island is for, essentially like the opposite of a deposit box. Storage & Banking -> On the topic of storage, I know the famous "Zulrah bank, Vorkath bank, and looting bag death" are somewhat of a trouble to code in so I thought you could put more use to both the Golden looting bag and the Grand looting bag. I feel as though both looting bags should work pretty much the same way (excluding their previous abilities), when you have items in your looting bag and want them in your inventory if you click the use option on either bag it'll come up with a withdraw option which will look pretty much the same as when you want to deposit items from your looting bag into your bank. I feel like this is fair as coding the other "banks" is just going through a lot of work and these tweaks could really help. In general you should be able right click use on an item and use it on a bank booth and it respectively turn into a bank note (as long as it's an item that can be noted). Rune Coin Exchange -> I feel like every mode should have their own benefit but because of some of the rune coin exchange items will actually be very useful like both looting bags and other items that will help very much will add up to a lot of rune coins. So I thought Ultimate Ironmen can have a 30-50% Discount. If you actually implement this I suggest making it so Ultimate Ironmen cannot be reverted into regular accounts to prevent rune coin farming excessively or a penalty of some sort. It gets repetitive farming rune coins so it would be helpful to make them more easier to farm on UIM accounts. Costume Rooms -> People want slots for most items, although that'd defeat the purpose of not having a bank, although I do believe some items that you might get lucky enough to get an item early game you might need late game and know you're going to die going for a different unlock before then. I feel elixirs should be added to the Costume Rooms & be able to stack items. Say I get x2 of x drop, Just because I have two of one item means I need to either drop trade it or waste an inventory slot? Certain slots should have a cap but that's for you to decide. Rogue's Chest -> Nobody wants to pay for protection, Nor do they want to farm to get herbs for making potions of whatever they need. I personally know many players that don't want to have 20m+ exp in farming/herblore/fishing/cooking just to get a decent amount of supplies to last them. Nobody wants to have to pay to get supplies from Rogue's chest so they don't lose anything and the fact that you can't even log out because you have npc's attacking you at all times doesn't seem quite fair. Feel free to reply with any suggestions or tweaks you might have on my suggestions. Glowing Regards, Joshua.

    Suggestions for primes.

So.. prime is a grind so why dont make some updates for the mode to make it more desirable. All metal dragons in the metal dragons teleport drop the bars all noted? OR after the achievement Dragonslaying IV (kill 100 rune dragons) Primes get the bar drops as noted? Dragons in wildy drop bones noted for primes. Tell me what you think just throwing my thoughts out there.

    Staff Application Additions

Hey there, I was looking through the staff applications and a lot of them seem to be very repetitive with their answers. Only a couple really stood out to be legitimate applications. Now I know this will bring in a huge controversial debate, which I totally am okay with. Don’t get me wrong. I have probably no stature of contributing any input on the format but I believe these will help pick out the serious applicants apart from the applicants who are portraying as serious. I personally believe a couple of questions should be thrown in the format: Are you willing to hold back a bit on personal growth on your account for community and server growth? (for instance spending less time skilling and more time assisting players?) what can you contribute to the server that will help it succeed in the future? Name a commitment you are willing to be responsible for when you are staff. If you had two players, one named "Rickster is gawd" and "MineEquals99" flaming at each other, how would you resolve the issue? Let's say you just became Server Support, and you are in-game by yourself with 70 players. If someone threatens to DDOS the server, how would you respond? If one of your role models on staff who is a higher rank than you starts to abuse their power. What would you do knowing, you want to help out a fellow staff member, but what they did was not right? The reasons I feel theses should be added because it will really make the person think about whether the staff position is right for them or not. Also this is not to scare people but to more push players to think critically about how they could contribute to the success of the server. Also it helps put them in the mental state of what could possibly happen? Thank you for taking the time to read this. Please let me know what you think. Thanks. -Dragon 9616
  9. Hi RuneX community, I'm Rnq. I've been eyeing the current Donator Zone quite a bit a thinking that it functions well, but looks bland and slightly visually unappealing with the Demons and Chaos Druids running about so I made this. I found the original map from an OSRS Interactive Map online, removed the text and filled it in appropriately, added in some icons and other details like trees and ores - this is the outcome for my suggestion. Small notes on the area of 'Etceteria' // New Donator Zone Idea. Trees, Ores, Fishing spots would be the same as of those in the current Donator Zone. [Trees: Magic, Yew | Ores: Coal, Mithril, Adamant, Runite, Gem | Fishing: Net - Bait, Lure - Bait, Cage - Harpoon] Bank near Fishing Spot could be a Bank Deposit Box only instead of an actual bank. General Store is where the Decanter and Donator Shop NPCs would be found, the Nurse would be located inside, next to the bank. Elves would be found outside of the main building but inside the castle area. Far North East Dungeon/Travel would be the trapdoor to access the Donator Dungeon. There would be the normal Slayer Master at the north-east in the hut. Bridges are broken to the west and southwest just in-case Miscellania wants to be used as another DZ. I'm mainly suggestion this because the as I noted before, the current Donator Zone is quite cluttered. Having a more open Donator Zone is also more visually appealing to the player. For Staff: Thank you all for checking out my 'New Donator Zone' Suggestion, took a bit of time to think out and put together but I think it came out really nice. -Rnq.

    Agility Revamp

Hello, My name is Amethyst in-game, and via the forums. I am going to preface this suggestion with a brief introduction due to this being my first post. I have coded RSPS for years, then took a break as I am now a computer science major. Now on to the suggestion, I am unfamiliar with how much content the owners of the server want to add to the game. But, agility only has three courses currently to no avail. The marks of grace are frankly lackluster considering that graceful is not needed at all due to the many teleports available to the player. I think the revamp could take place in a few areas that would give some diversity to the player base: A variety of rooftop courses could be added. Varrock Rooftop Course: Expanding the current area of the game considering that no one goes to varrock. I think that there could be more expansions in that direction as content would be added. Canifis Rooftop Course: The Canifis course always gives the most marks of grace; This could be used in the revamped shop that will be talked about below. Ardougne Rooftop Course: This would obviously be a level 90 course to use. It would present the player with the maximum XP rate in RuneX. I also think that the shop could use a change as well: I feel that players aren't really given a great reward for doing anything skilling wise rather than achievement points granted to the player. Marks of Grace could be used for a slew of rewards that could include fashionable items such as some of the items in fancy boxes, items that give bonus XP in their respective skills (Not the ones that we have already), and perhaps some of the cosmetic rares for 50,000 marks of grace etc. What is stated above is obviously subject to change, I just feel that there is a better substitute that could be in place for marks of grace rather than what they do currently. This is obviously a suggestion, you are subject to have your own opinion. Let me know what you think! Amethyst

    Gamemode Prayer Suggestion

Topic: Prayer Suggestion: Have prayer drain slower the harder the game mode is Reason: I think this is a good idea as more bones are required the harder the gamemode is and gives a incentive to try out one of the harder gamemodes. Thanks
  12. OBJECTIVE OF THE GAME: The only items allowed inside the Castle Wars area are potions, runes, and Combat-related items such as armour—with the exception of helmets, hats, and capes. Food cannot be brought in, but bandages can be obtained within the arena, which are used to heal players in the same way as food. Alchemy spells cannot be used during the game. The Dwarf multicannon's cannot be brought into Castle Wars. Since this is a safe mini-game, players do not have to worry about dying because they will not lose their items. (Hardcore Ironman's would be SAFE here) 10 vs 10 would be the minimum amount of players to start a game, if there's a shortage of players, 9 vs 10 should start a game as well. Pets will be allowed in, with the exception of not being able to pick them up. (Just like how it is in the Wilderness) Summoning Familiars shouldn't be allowed in, although it is a multi-combat zone. AFK Guard will not be summoned to you while playing this mini-game. Castle Wars tickets won't be tradeable. Multi-logging with 2 accounts inside the CW game would prohibited, and should be dealt with accordingly by a Staff Member/Via Report section. 5 Castle Wars tickets if your team wins, 3 tickets if the game ends in a draw, and 2 ticket if your team loses Pro(s): Mainly this mini-game will promote the flawless Pking Runex has to offer & ultimately help you complete the current PvP Achievements ~ (The wilderness is dead) The rewards selected above seem reasonable to me, I can see 20+ players grinding this mini-game daily. This mini-game is very eco friendly, it's been on almost every RSPS I've come across. I believe Ironman players will find this mini-game very beneficial. I'd say a majority of the RSPS playerbase knows the mechanics of this mini-game, which is honestly a PLUS! (Too many players are running around Kharazi clueless on what to do) New Achievements to be introduced! Achievement(s): Capture the enemies flag 20+ times, Set-up 1,000+ Barricades, Win 100+ Castle Wars Games! Con(s): Finding 19-20 players to start a game, especially in mid October where there's not many Online at any given time. (I'm sure in the Summer it'll be a very popular mini-game) - Nonetheless, not having enough players Online shouldn't be the ONLY reason Castle Wars isn't introduced to Runex. Due to the different modes this server has to offer, not everyone is Maxed combat.. So this Mini-game will be a bit difficult for them. (They will likely be Defending the base) Coding Castle Wars properly.. It's not the easiest to code (to my knowledge). Judging by the Kharazi Jungle Mini-game this shouldn't be too much of a hassle for Ryan? I've seen CW's coded correctly and incorrectly on several servers throughout the years, (IMHO) I have no doubt Ryan can make this practically bulletproof.. (Bug-free) I'm sure I missed a few key points, wouldn't be surprised if this suggestion turns into a debate. Post below your thoughts & opinions. Obviously I'm not asking for this to be done tomorrow, a week from now, or even a few months from now.. Anytime would be suffice!

    Master Cape

Suggestion: It would be very nice to have some level 120 capes aswell on the server. Reason: 99 Capes is good and all, but 120 capes makes people (atleast me) more motivated to continue after maxing an account. It's another milestone, maybe even add 120 as achievements for skills. More achievements is always good right? It will also make so that Roger loses his Comp cape and got to work even harder for it Should add it for that soul purpose Edit: Add Comp Cape (t) if you have all level 120's. -Disc
  14. Okay this might sound far fetched, but what if for the big fight that 80% of the people you talk to know about this fight. what if a NPC bookkeeper was added at edgeville and you could by a raffle ticket and submit it to X person. Come time of fight depending on winner or loser, if the player wins he wins a certain percentage back above the cost of raffle ticket. if the player loses the just lose the cost of the ticket. As it will increase the amount of GP in game, it will also help diminish the amount of gp in game because of the ticket lost. I also believe it would help this server potentially get more popular because of the tags and word of mouth.
