Every player that participates in the event will automatically receive a $5 bond! This is the biggest event in the history of Runex so please look below to see how you can participate: What is the event? For four weeks, players will post videos regarding Runex This event's rewards system will be determined by a point system (which will be listed below) Every video that meets the credentials (listed below) will count as 1 point The more videos, the more points, the more rewards What are the video credentials? Videos can be about anything within the game, as long as it doesn’t contain content within violation of the Runex rules Each video must be a minimum of 3 minutes, and be uploaded within the event's time frame Video must include "Runex" in the title Video description must include a link to the server Create a topic for your video(s) on the media section ( https://runex.io/forums/index.php?/forum/9-media/ ) with “[YT-Event]” in the title Recorded live streams do not qualify as videos for this event When is the event? Start: May 3rd 2018 End: May 31st 2018 What are the rewards? Each qualified video is worth 1 point Point reward system: 1-2 points: $5 bond 3 points: $20 bond ($25 total) 4-5 points: $30 bond ($55 total) 6 or more points: $45 bond ($100 total) Not only will you receive rewards from the point system but also: The player with the most points will receive an extra $100 bond The player with the second most points will receive an extra $50 bond If there is a tie, the winner will be determined by video quality The player with the best overall video will receive an extra $50 bond Since you already will be making videos, make sure to take a look at the Runex Youtuber Program: Winners will be announced in early June Thank you for participating and good luck on winning! 1 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

vaya1 0 Posted May 4, 2018 I think it's a nice event regarding population purposes. But I think only a few people would actually qualify for the rewards, due the requirements. It's quite rough for people that are new in making video's to get 100 views (It's a low amount still, I know that, but I personally think, lots of people will be disqualified due to that specific rule) Regardless, I hope this will bring a lot of new folk into the server, as it deserves. Now after a quick look, RuneX has over 1000 more help posts than SpawnPK currently does and after a brief look it would seem that Ramzi rarely comments directly on a help thread on SpawnPK. So there isn't really a bias thing here, just different methods on different servers. Loud 2 Posted May 5, 2018 (edited) This feels like a quickly put together promotional event to be honest. This way we will get loads of low quality runex content onto YouTube. You need people that actually want to make a video, because they love the server, and want to contribute. There are so many ways of attracting people to the server, like actually producing new interesting content and events people enjoy. Like runex has done before.
