Ryan 873 Posted October 18, 2019 Content updates: Halloween event This year's holiday event has a WIDE VARIETY of activities, including a second part mini-game! This limited time event will be active until: November 17th, 2019 so don't miss out! Cycled activities Every 1-2 hours a new "activity" will be announced which can earn you h'ween tokens Speak with "Jack the ripper" at home for information on the current activity, and how many tokens you can earn from it! Potential activities include: Raids (2 hours) Killing bosses in raids earns everyone in the party tokens Completing a raid earns you tokens Bossing (1 hour) A wide variety of bosses can be killed for tokens, all of which can be picked up for boss slayer tasks Key chests (30 minutes) The following chests can be opened for different amount of tokens: Crystal chests Lava chests Brimstone chest Larran's chests Slayer tasks (1 hour) Barrows runs (1 hour) Skilling tasks (1 hour) Task scrolls (1 hour) Dragon hunting (1 hour) Impling hunting (30 mins) Nardah minigame (30 mins) Magic trees (30 mins) Blood reaper (world boss) Every 4 hours the blood reaper will spawn for the entire server to kill! You will need a Poltergust device (speak with the "Ghoul" at home) to fight this boss Right-click "teleport" on your poltergust to enter his lair! Every player who damages the boss will receive their own drop! Soul catching (minigame) Receive "ghoul bones" by catching souls roaming Runex! Ghoul bones can either be buried for great prayer experience (they're stackable too!) or traded for rewards There are two types of souls found roaming in the wilderness: Tormented souls Found scattering the wilderness You must engage in combat with them using a poltergust They give you great rewards due to the risk of wilderness hunting! Lost souls Lost souls are found roaming safe F2P areas, similar to implings These souls are more peaceful than tormented souls, and require you to help them pass to the otherside You will find them in different colors, indicating their rarity: Blue: Common, fair rewards Green: Uncommon, good rewards Purple: Rare, great rewards! Hunting souls will grant you hunter experience (and some slayer experience for tormented souls!) Speak with the "Ghoul" at home located next to "Jack the ripper" to learn more, or to trade in your bones for rewards! His shop includes a lot of exclusive cosmetics, as well as some useful items such as: Mystery tickets Donation bonds ($5.00) Random elixir packs (10) Exclusive rewards Note: The "H'ween 2019 casket" is obtained as a rare reward from the event chest, and opens for a guaranteed rare h'ween item. This way we are able to maintain the rarity of certain items as they are no longer guaranteed for everyone on the server who completes the chest. This h'ween event brings in some great exclusive items, including but definitely not limited to.. Halloween dyes You can use these dyes on Justiciar and Ancestral gear, similar to 3rd-age dyes! These dyes are obtained from the event chest, or the H'ween 2019 casket (which is also from the chest and/or blood reaper drop) Blood reaper scythe You can give your Scythe of vitur a new cosmetic look by attaching a Blood reaper scythe hilt to it! The Blood reaper scythe hilt is obtained exclusively from the H'ween 2019 casket Blood reaper pet This pet is also exclusively obtained from the H'ween 2019 casket Due to it's rarity, it is classified as an epic pet and has a passive effect that grants +25% tokens for every Halloween event, including future ones! There are many more exclusive items to obtain from this event, so hop online and check them out! Instanced slayer scroll Your voice has been heard! You can now obtain the "Instanced slayer" boss point perk for Catacombs of Kourend with slayer points! Simply purchase the Instanced slayer scroll (perk) from the slayer point shop to activate it Keep in mind that it does not require you to have the preceding perks unlocked Vials of blood (scythe of vitur) The scythe of vitur now requires you to charge it with Vials of blood which can be obtained from Theatre of Blood Vials are stackable Vials are tradeable One vial gives your scythe 200 charges (200 hits) Charges are account-bound, meaning you can still sell your scythe or own multiple without any issues If your scythe is uncharged, you will deal 1/2 the original damage and receive a chatbox message These vials are very easy to obtain, and are given at a 100% chance per ToB raid at the following amounts: Normal: 2-5 vials Adept: 3-5 vials Expert: 4-5 vials Master: 5 vials Grandmaster: 7 vials Cosmetic equipment slot We've added a brand new "cosmetic" equipment slot entirely separate from your original 12 equipment items. Cosmetic equipment items do not provide any bonuses, and can therefore be worn virtually anywhere! So far we've added all "parrots" to this system (Standard parrot, Summer parrot, and the new Spooky parrot!) If favored, we may be adding more of these items in the future, so stay tuned! Gameplay changes & fixes: Skotizo pet is now an epic pet Passive effect: Kourend scavenger Increases chance for dark totem piece drops in the kourend dungeon Decorative armour from the achievement point store now breaks on wilderness deaths, and requires a repair fee Completionist cape now has improved magic and range attack bonuses to match vorkath max cape & imbued god capes Cursed keys are now stackable Fixed a bug that allowed you to start a new wilderness task without cancelling your current one 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Haven't done any Kourend slayer after last update and even with instance it's stupid because of only few npc spawns. I don't mind not having cannon but please add more spawns.
