  1. This guide will act as an in depth guide to leveling up Farming on any mode. First and foremost, you're going to need supplies. To get what you need, go to the Skilling shop found in the Edgeville shops. You're going to need: 1 Rake, 1 Watering Can, 1 Seed Dibber, a varying amount of Supercompost, and Seeds. Seed XP values and level requirements will be found below NOTE: These are the total values of planting and harvesting a full crop, not individual crops. Now that you've collected the supplies you need, head on over to one of the Allotment patches. These can be found under the Farming tab in your Training Teleports. To efficiently level up Farming, you should be rotating between both Catherby and Falador. If you have a Daily task requiring you to farm Allotments, the Task teleport will bring you to the Catherby allotment patch. When you start the Farming skill, you must first clear the allotments. To do this, you use the Rake purchased on the Allotment, clearing it of weeds (which will be placed in your inventory. Drop them, they're junk). After the allotment is clear of weeds, you must use a Supercompost on it. This will prevent your plants from becoming diseased and dying. Next, you must plant the seeds by using them on the allotment. Finally, after the seeds have been planted you must use the watering can on the plants to prevent them from withering and dying. As well as vegetable allotments, there are herb patches which allow one to grow Herbs. To grow herbs, follow the steps provided above at the Herb patch. You do not, however, need to water Herbs as they do not wilt. In the event that you forget to use supercompost or water an allotment or patch, the plant will become diseased. In order to clear the allotment or herb patch of the diseased plant, you must use a spade purchased from the General Store on it. At level 85 Farming, you will unlock the achievement Cultivator III. This achievement will grant you the Magic Secateurs item. Whilst equipped, the Magic Secateurs will hasten the crop growth rate, and it can be used in pace of a Rake and Seed Dibber. At level 99 Farming, you may purchase the Farming Cape, which hastens growth rate by an additional 10% and turns harvested crops into Noted items. With the addition of the Cavern of Prosperity, two new methods of farming have become available. After obtaining a Skiller's Tome II or greater, you may choose to kill Sapling (Lv. 50) or Deciduous (Lv. 100) Tanglefoot. To gain Farming experience whilst killing these, you must have magic secateurs equipped. Protect from Magic is reccomended. Ents and Tanglefoot also drop potted saplings, which can be planted at the tree patches. Fruit trees take 16 minutes to grow, and require specific farming items to be protected.
  2. IscapeBaked

    small farming and edz qol

pretty simple: add new patches. would mostly love to see more herb patches to speed up the farming of herbs. maybe give some love to super donator by adding them for super doantor. but they also could be at the extreme donator zone. another idea is just to increase the number of herbs farmed for each tier of donator. also for extreme donator zone, would be nice if the banks didnt move. it seems that most people choose to use the normal donator zone instead of extreme, and the main reason i choose to use the normal is the movement of the banks is kinda annoying.
  3. King Of Iron

    Higher seed drop rate

Increased drop rate for herb seeds/selling herb seeds for high prices in the shop. so alot of herbs as you'd expect have a lower drop rate but seeing as farming is around this was the chance to let people make their own herbs should they have the sufficient farming level. sadly the monsters that drop the seeds have insanely low drop rates for them. i've killed well over 200-400 chaos priests and have gotten herbs left and right but only 4 seed drops which one was luckily doubled. all the seeds that were dropped however were lower leveled ones like tarromin and guam. this could just be my ignorance of what drops what as it wouldnt be the first time i made a mistake, but even so a slight buff to the drop rate would make things alot better especially for ironmen who don't have access to the shops. also for those who can buy from the shop having a seed in there for high amounts of gold would allow someone to spend a bit of cash instead of grinding for the seeds. this would also set a price ceiling for seeds which would stop rampant price changes.
  4. Prayer

    Skilling Content??

Prayer here, also known as "Q" I'm here to discuss and suggest some Skilling Content! For me, and maybe others. Some people might not be fans of combat. so.. maybe you can take a few of my suggestions? - Skilling Pets , i would love to see these implemented into the game! - (For farming update in future) Seed Stalls! non combat people can thieve for Farming! or maybe we can buy seeds through some sort of store? - Fixing Firemaking, i can be 90+ firemaking and still not light a yew log quick enough. - Clay items! add x2 xp to whatever item goes to that skill, from a mini game in pre eoc. maybe obtain through skilling box? or achievement? - Maybe buff mining a bit.. Mining and smithing does not go well together as it is, maybe try and get MLM out? - Graeful, maybe cheap achievement points in store, or add a rooftop course or 2? - Something some people may like to see is a Fashion Scape store? like.. Gnome Scarf for 1m.. or Vestment robes for 2m.. something like that! - More items to obtain through skilling to sell, because as of now, its kind of hard to make money from skilling. Thank you so much for checking out my suggestion list, Please feel free to discuss down in the comments below, also, support if you'd love to see some of these ideas! - Prayer
