    Drop Rate Conspiracy

    I get that. But go to a probability calculator and plug in 1 in 240 x 2 x 1750 = a 90% chance at 1.1k and a 96% + at 1750 drops. That is absurd considering that multiple people have gone 1750 dry, especially when a lot of those people (like myself) have used a row (I) and slay emblems on task for every kill.

    Yeah I get that so for kraken you get the trident and the tent on the same roll so it’s more like a 1 in 600 to get a specific one. That doesn’t explain why I haven’t hit the 1 in 240 after luck bonus in over 1750 kills lol. That is so highly improbable that it can really only be explained by having drop rates be different than they are

    This idea has been brewing in my head since I’ve gone 1600+ kraken kills dry with 0 tridents and 0 tents to my name. Mind you this is with a 22.5% dr bonus as well. I pose this: THEY ARE LYING TO YOU ABOUT DROP RATES! That is to say, the drop rate you see in the drop viewer is FALLACIOUS and WRONG! It is in my opinion that they were changed somewhere along the way for certain bosses to reflect how easy it is to kill that boss. Kraken for instance is very afk and is one of the most killed bosses yet it seems to be a trend that the trident and tents are hard to come by. Shouldn’t they be common? Same goes with the thermonuclear smoke devil. The drop rate for an occult necklace seems way lower than it actually is. what do you guys think? Grand conspiracy? Bold lies? Or is it just bad rng for most people on kraken in some weird statistical fluke?

    Comprehensive drop rate post???

    Sooo like where is a comprehensive topic for all of the random drop tables in the game? Ive tried finding the barrows drop rates: not there. I’ve looked for prize box drop tables, crystal keys, task drop tables... nowhere to be found again. i think the staff here have an obligation to the players who put so much time money and energy in the game to give them these tables so they know what to expect and where to spend their energy.

    More Runes for Irons

    I would like to propose a few ideas to allow Irons to have easier (and more fair) access to runes. As it stands to get runes as an iron you have to either rune craft or receive as drops from monsters, from crystal key chests etc. In normal runescape and almost every other private server as well irons can buy base runes (up to chaos or death usually) from the store. Now since Runex makes getting GP extremely easy to obtain, I posit that instead you rework a couple of things: The Mage Arena, Runecrafting, and Drop Tables 1: The Mage Arena Minigame --- I think being able to spend magic tokens from the minigame on rune packs would be super beneficial. you could sell lets say elemental runes 100 for 2 tokens. maybe 100 chaos for 5 100 death for 10 etc. etc... This would give a use for the minigame beyond gear and the server would see more use out of tokens, especially for irons. 2: Runecrafting --- I think having the double @99 runecrafting for making runes is fantastic, and nothing needs to be changed in regards to the amount made. However, I think that the dark altar should not be the only place to obtain bloods and soul runes as an iron, especially for the ultimate ironmen out there, and the HCIM. They should not be forced to the wilderness to farm high level runes. Add the Zeah runecrafting as an achievement, maybe you need to make say 10-20k deaths before you an runecraft there, make it a reward and hard to get to like puro-puro is for hunting. Add the Wrath altar as the final stage where you need to craft say 25k of both souls and deaths at the zeah altar before you can move on to the wrath one. This would give incentive to the stale skill that is runecrafting and allow UIM and HCIM easier access to those high tier runes. 3: Drops --- This goes along with The HCIM and UIM argument in that having access to blood runes, soul runes, and much more easily accessible and in greater abundance elemental runes from monster drops would help the server and the community a great deal. I see no reason not to have soul runes on some high level monster or minigame tables, same goes for having say 5k air/water/earth/fire rune drops from bosses, or even 1k+ of deaths/chaos/bloods from endgame bosses..
  7. I would love to see the option to be able to change the home teleport to ::dzone at will as a donor. This would of course scale with the donor status that the character has unlocked. Potentially just add the option to right click the home teleport, select "Dzone" etc. and that will set it as your new teleport until you decide to change it back again.

    Add .exe launcher

    So I have a computer that I want to play the game on however I can't get Java on it. Could you guys add a .exe extension download for windows so I can play without Java? Thanks
