Welcome to my Barbarian Training Guide. 

 

Little is know about Barbarian Training across Runex. The most sort after reward is the timed slayer tasks for 1.5 x points. 

 

Step One - How to get there

Teleport to Otto Godblessed. 

 

Step Two - Understanding the Skills

Talk to Otto and obtain your first training scroll. 

Levels:

1. Firemaking - Use a regular shortbow to create a fire.  - 0 Tokens

2. Fishing - Use a barbarian Rod to catch Leaping Sturgeon, Trout and Salmon then gut them with a knife. - 1 Token

3. Mining - Mine rock and use a chisel to make blunt arrowheads.  - 2 Tokens

4. Fletching - Use blunt arrow tips on Rune arrows for Blunt arrows.  - 2 Tokens

5. Fishing II - Bare-hand fish shark without the need for a harpoon. - 2 Tokens

6. Smithing - Smith Hastas and Spears at an anvil. - 3 Tokens

7. Herblore - Use Caviar / Roe (Fish guts) on potions to make them heal 15hp a dose.  - 3 Tokens

8. Slayer - Complete a slayer task within a given time to earn 50% more points (Base points not streak points). - 7 Tokens

 

Step Three - Working up

You must work your way up in order. There is no way to skip levels. 

1. Burn 500 of any log using a bow.

2. Fish then gut 500 Trout, Salmon or Surgeon. 

3. Mine and cut 500 rocks.

4. Create 500 Blunt Rune Arrows

5. Fish 500 shark bare-hand

6. Make 100 Spears/Hastas (Steel, Addy or Rune bar + Magic log).

7. Create 500 "Potion" mixes (Use Caviar on Super Atk, Str, Def, Rng, Mage, Sara Brew).

8. Complete slayer tasks within allocated times.

 

Step 4 - Earning Tokens

The more "Tasks" you complete the more tokens you get, similar to the slayer tasks, earning bonus tokens. 

You have to go numerically when learning new skills but you can use old skills to earn tokens. 

The fastest way I found was when you get to level 3 mine rock and create arrows until you have enough to buy all skills at once. 

Another quick way would be to use the caviar you obtained in level 2 to create super pots. This can be fiddly due to you having to right click both the pot/caviar to mix and it is not automatic. 

 

Extra tokens are not used for anything at the moment but keep them as they may have a shop in the future.
