Ryan 873 Posted March 21, 2018 Next update ETA April 1st, 2018 Content updates: Nardah world event Along with brand new Nardah content (see below), a world event will be hosted until March 31st During the duration of this event, players will receive "nardah tokens" while: Killing mummies (higher tier = more tokens) Opening sarcophaguses (tomb keys = more tokens You can access the exchange by clicking your tokens, or by interacting with the event chest at home Includes new exclusive items, be sure to check it out before March 31st, 2018! New event themed items includes: Nardah wand +40 magic attack bonus +10% magic damage bonus Book of chaos +8 strength bonus +5 prayer bonus +8% magic damage bonus Chaos blessing +5 strength bonus +5 ranged strength bonus +5% magic damage bonus Nardah additions Tomb keys Bronze, silver, and gold tomb keys can now be obtained from mummies and sarcophagus loot Alternatively, they can be obtained from bronze/silver/gold packages These keys can be used to open sarcophaguses, which will give you: Duration added to your Nardah party: Bronze keys give +30 seconds Silver keys give +60 seconds Gold keys give +120 seconds Additional rewards, such as: Bronze keys have a rare chance to give the amulet of nardah Silver keys have a rare chance to give amulet of nardah, nardah robes, and mystic robe pieces Gold keys have a rare chance to give all the above, and a very rare chance to give the new exclusive event items Keys can also give a variety of other rewards such as task bottles, chaos mummy scrolls, uncut onyx, and more! 250/500/1000 runex points, respectively Bonus nardah tokens (during the world event only) Slightly improved sarcophagus rates and rewards Raids (Chambers of Xeric) Boss pets New demi-boss/boss pets have been added, including: Olmlet pet is now available as a very rare reward from the raid chest Vasa nistirio now has a rare chance to drop a pet Tekton now has a rare chance to drop a pet Vespula now has a rare chance to drop a pet All of the pets listed above can be upgraded into legendary pets The pets are alternatively available from the pet mystery box as a very rare reward Fixed issue with Vasa Nistirio in new school graphics Fixed issue with iron men picking up the pickaxes at Tekton Sacred tokens Raid weapons have been removed from the sacred token exchange Added "vorpal staff" to the sacred token exchange Two-handed staff that auto casts meteor projectiles of a random element (air, water, earth, fire) Includes a special attack, which casts one meteor of each element at a rapid speed Added "ancient relic" to the sacred token exchange Used on a chaotic weapon to imbue it into an upgraded version Cursed blood orb Speak to the enchanter in the cursed cavern to learn more about the "cursed blood orb" Sacrifice a lesser/greater/master blood orb for a small chance to enchant it into a cursed orb Gives +25% more blood money than the master blood orb Gives a +5% drop rate bonus while in the wilderness Client improvements Added new desktop icon Drastically improved client start up loading time Improved memory (RAM) usage/consumption For players who've experienced client issues in the past: Reduced instances of "framerate dipping" Reduced instances of client crashings Task scrolls Added new hard and elite tasks/sub-tasks Added dragon kite and crossbow to hard and elite casket rewards Added new "phantom" animal masks to the hard and elite casket rewards Grand crests Two new rewards have been added to the grand crest: Frozen backpack Lava backpack Molten boots and gloves are now obtainable from the grand crest Cursed cannon Modified equipment bonuses and attack formula Ignore list You will no longer view messages from ignored players in: Clan chat Yell chat Twisted bow Raised damage cap against Great olm from 100 to 150 Other fixes and patches Fixed death protect values for various items Fixed salve amulet (e) hover description Added defence requirements for PvP equipment Added defence requirements for archon, archan, and warria boots Looking ahead: Here's what to expect in the weeks ahead, including but not limited to: Chambers of Xeric expansions (new content) New skilling content and incentives Easter event 2018 (world event included) 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
