NS 3 Posted December 9, 2017 I believe the winter shard price of the Winter Partyhat should be drastically increased to a price of 50k shards. All other seasonal partyhats have been immensely difficult to obtain, such as the summer partyhat and halloween partyhat, to such a high degree that only a handful entered the game during the whole event. However, with this Christmas event, this is not the case. The current price of 15k winter shards is extremely low, and does not take very long to obtain. It is to my understanding that at least 5 winter partyhats have already entered the game, in the less than 24 hours that the event has been released. This rate will NOT slow down, as TzFrost-Jads continue to spawn, allowing players to accumulate large quantities of winter shards with minimal effort and time investment. With the event slotted to end in early January, the Winter Partyhat is on track to become the most common partyhat ingame, with no sink. It is certainly understandable to want to provide accessible content for the average player. It is unreasonable to assume everybody has time to grind out wyverns all day. However, with the large one month window of the event, even with the newly proposed price, this shouldn't be a problem to even the most casual of players. Using the gear provided for the event, a player averages around 1.5k+ Winter Shards per hour. If the price were to be increased to my suggestion, obtaining the partyhat would require "only" 34 hours of gameplay. Over a month's worth of playtime, this is a reasonable goal to achieve for what should be one of the most coveted items ingame. In order to preserve the integrity of partyhats ingame, and stay true to the rarity of previous events, this must be done quickly before it is too late. Iron Logic 910 Posted December 9, 2017 Well to start off with, it is too late. It is incredibly unfair to other players to change rates or prices in the middle of the event. The vast majority of players who have achieved any of the event partyhats are those who have bought the currency off other players and have barely put any time into doing the event. With the amount of players doing this event, it is too late. Even this post will have scared more people into buying the party hats.
