Ryan 873 Posted December 22, 2022 Nightmare Before Christmas Event (2022) As promised, we've delivered a fusion of the H'ween + Xmas event, bringing a darker winter to RuneX! Roaming monsters A curse has brought back mobs from xmas & h'weens past! In this event you will initially grab free (tier 1) Nightstorm and Winterstorm wands. Nightstorm deals +10% damage against h'ween mobs, while Winterstorm deals +10% damage against xmas mobs. Either wand works on any monster, using the correct wand is just an optional bonus When killing a mob, you'll also be guaranteed +1 H'ween soul or +1 Xmas soul, depending on the mob type. Unlike previous events, this sub-currency works as a point system rather than an item. These souls can be used to purchase upgrades for your event weapons, as well as other trinkets and utility items! You can type ::souls to view your current amount! Once you've received the ultimate event weapon, and the maximum upgrades for your trinkets, you can spend remaining souls on the Nightwinter mystery box. This mystery box opens as a donator mystery box, and also includes some event tokens! Event Bosses The global boss, Krampmare will appear in the event boss lair (safe zone) every four hours! Any player who participates will receive a free drop as well as +20 h'ween souls and +20 xmas souls The Candy spider (wilderness event boss) will appear at a random wilderness location every 2 hours! Like Krampmare, each kill participant will receive +20 h'ween souls and +20 xmas souls Boss Spotlight This new activity will be activated on January 7th Once it's enabled, the Nex boss will become a holiday variant, and drop event tokens & items! Tune in until the activation date for more info! Holiday Money Making Bonuses This new activity will be activated on January 12th Once it's enabled, players will receive "Holiday points" for completing money making activities 1 point per easy task 2 points per medium 3 points per hard As you earn more points, you'll receive more free bonus rewards! Unique rewards are unlocked from earning points (in increments of mostly 10). Once all of the rewards are unlocked, you'll receive a repeatable reward of 1,000 tokens every 10 points!
