Alch Hydra Guide

Hi, I've saw alot of questions on Alch Hydra last week, dilly-dallied for a while and had the desire to make this small guide up for you. Not perfect, could be refined alot especially video but better than nothing imo.

 

1) (Buffs)On entry pray range&rigour and run to tile 1 then attack AH. Count out 3 of their attacks then run to tile 2 and pray mage

2) Count to 3 attacks from AH again and switch back to range(repeat count/switch for the entire kill). When AH phases run to tile 3

3) Once here wait for lightening to start to get near you then run around the green fountain keeping AH on top of it. (#4)

4) Chip away at green phase while circling until AH phases again and run to tile 5

5) AH will spawn fire at your feet you can walk or run around in the box or race hydra and get outside the box to avoid flames

6) Once phased run to tile 7, dwh/bgs/brackish final phase quickly if you brought it

7) Once here AH has increased def and is Jad attacking, dps flick dps flick dps flick and well done you just killed it

 

 

tips from other players

dps to be gained on entry going to tile 1, can pull green phase to tile 5 early (approx 600hp) and while running from fire on blue can attack while running

If you drag the second phase to the blue portal once it gets to around 600 HP then you can get a good amount of hits into the third phase with weakened defense. Otherwise good guide!
