1. What was your favourite memory on Runex during 2019?
At the beginning of 2019 I used to play on my non-ironman account "Elon". One day I was bored of the game and went gambling with my whopping ~15b bank. I peaked at x2 Cursed Twisted Bows + 1x Cursed Kodai Wand + A lot of other minor stuff. I will NEVER forget the feeling of being filthy rich in this game and having everything i could possibly want. Too bad it didn't last long. Comes easy goes easy i guess.

2. What was your favourite update during 2019?

Definitely the Collection Log. I spent the whole month competing on my Ultimate Ironman "Ventania", and ended up getting 3rd place. It felt so good winning something after a whole month of playing 12 hours a day. My therapist heard a lot about this game that month, lol!

What was the funniest IRL situation you were involved in during 2019?

I don't know how to explain this but I will try.
I have 2 twins little cousins who were about 3 years old at the time this happened. My aunt doesn't let them eat lolipop as it is, so what she does is smash the lollipop into little pieces and then put the smashed lollipop in a little plate so they can eat it. They were licking the plate and some of the smashed lollipop glued to one of the lil kids face. That's when the other lil kid started picking the smashed lollipop off of his brother face to eat! I started laughing and said "go clean your face or your brother will start licking it". My aunt who was nearby started laughing so hard!

I would like to see some Elite Achievements and maybe even some Elite Daily Money Activities;

1. What was your favourite memory on Runex during 2019?
I cherish most of my time playing Runex, as it is quite a fun way to pass the time, but my best memories are the interactions I have with other community members, whether they be asking for help/tips or just having a general chat, this community it amazing and I love getting to know everyone. 
But my best memory of Runex in 2019 would be when I decided to take a break over December, Runex has taken up a rather large chunk of my life and I've never really been able to get myself away from it. But over December and still to this day, i only log in once every week or so to catch up with people, and it has been great. 
With all the extra time, I've been able to land a new job in the start-up tech industry and work my ass off to go on a cruise with my fiance and our engaged friends. 

2. What was your favourite update during 2019?

My favourite updates are ones that don't need new content to stand on their own, and can introduce a new way to enjoy the game and for the community to spend their time. 
So my tied favourites are the Collection Log and Ultimate Ironman Mode. 
They both heavily expanded the amount of content for players to enjoy without adding much content themselves. 

What was the funniest IRL situation you were involved in during 2019?

To preface this story, I love raw fish, especially when prepared properly in sushi, but my fiance, she hates it with a passion. 

So this year my fiance and I went on a holiday to Japan after I convinced her it would be better than Paris. One of the first things we did was go to a high class authentic Sushi restaurant, because I really wanted to try proper sushi. We each chose 4 pieces of sushi each to share, because it was really bloody expensive, and of coarse, being Japan, there was no Avo with chicken for my fiance, so we got 8 raw fish sushi that we shared. To my surprise, she loved every last piece, even the same fish she would have spat out in Australia, it really was that good, we went back their a few times regardless of the price. 

The next day, we went to a classy Japanese restaurant that specialised in local dishes, they didn't have an English menu, so we only had 4-5 dishes to choose from that had pictures, I chose a nice looking chicken dish, because it looked like KFC. My fiance on the other hand, really wanted to get some more fish, and she showed me what she wanted, this is essentially what it looked like:

Knowing her, I told her not to get it because she would not like it. Steak sized chunks of raw fish is not the same as thin slices of sushi fish. But no, she was on a high from her sushi and said she MUST get the seared fish. So I got it for her and told her she can have none of my chicken when she realises what she just ordered. 

As expected, as soon as her dish comes out, she says the fish slices looked much smaller in the picture. I smirk and begin eating my chicken as I watch her try to choke down chunks of raw fish. 
After she could only manage 1 of the 8 pieces, I told her to switch dishes with me, after I ate 65% of my chicken. 

I never imagined the consistency to be so sickeningly slimy while tough at the same time. I choked down all but 1 piece as to not offend the chef by leaving a barely touched meal. My fiance took a few photos of my face as I bit into the fish for the first time and the looks of regret turning to thinking about a divorce and trying to swallow a slimy mass of fish are priceless. I wish I could show them, but I take my privacy a little too seriously.

All stories aside, If anyone has a chance, go to Japan, it is truly amazing.

1. What would you like to see changed/added on Runex during 2020?
Runex has a lot of great unique content, but so much gets left behind in the rush to add in new and exciting content. 
I would like to see older NPC/Boss drop tables reworked to be more modern in the current economy. 
I would like to see older content, such as Slayer Superiors, Revevent Cave NPCs etc, touched up as well. 
I would also like to see some general Pvm NPCs added throughout the wilderness and F2P zones to liven up the empty areas of the game.

1. What was your favourite memory on Runex during 2019?

I camped Jungle Demon for 511 kills in 6 days while in discord voice chat with Uli and Simon during this time.. I obviously didnt get one single drop in those 511 kills but on the 6th and final day I found a kharazi impling which I couldnt catch due to my 96 hunter at the time. So I called Uli who then caught it, got the sunspear and 10 minutes later Primon pulled a sunspear out of a mystery chest. 70 hours of grinding jungle demon only to get shit on, thank you runex, great memories.

2. What was your favourite update during 2019?

Superior bosses were definetly my favorite update.

[Bonus question] What was the funniest IRL situation you were involved in during 2019?

I was at a club in Frankfurt, Germany with a few friends of mine.  We were pretty wasted and around 4 A.M. one of our friends disappeared.  He came back over an hour later full of joy and started telling us how he met this really hot girl that was hitting on him and how they got into some heavy making out a minute ago and was trying to figure out a way he could get her to his house since he lived over 200 kms away and nobody was gonna lend him 500 euros to taxi back since he was always broke and never paid for shit.  We were all wondering who this girl was and our interest was soon to be crushed after she came out of nowhere with the most manliest of hands we had ever seen on a "female", picked our friend up (whos 190 cm tall and weights about 85 kilos), threw him on a table and then went in for the kiss. At this moment we knew: He fucked up.

1. What would you like to see changed/added on Runex during 2020?

Respawn timers on the jungle demon reduced to a minute instead of the insane respawn timers at the moment, might actually make kharazi spot being dead content after achieving the gloves.

Massive amounts of RNG being added to the account: 25x,  due to him getting absolutely no upgrades in the last 400 hours of gameplay.

Cudgel nerf so some of Runex's greatest pkers have to quit.

A new wildy boss/world boss would be great. I know runex isnt a pk servers, but pking is still a good option once someone gets bored of the same old repetitive stuff everyday.  An active wildy always brings new players with it and atm we only have 4 spots in the wilderness were you are likely to possibly see a player. Other then that the wild is completely dead since it offers no content.  Revs is dead content aswell so maybe a refurbish would be great for the server even though rev weapons are broken af but not many people really know that.

My favourite memory would have to be when bosspoints came out and it turned out i was #1 in nolifing bosses. Felt like a big nerd that day. 10/10 would do it again.

What would you like to see changed/added on Runex during 2020?

Many many things i would like to be changed and added.

I would love to see achievement rewards changed for the new players. Because after 3 years some of them are just horrible.

The rates of agility pets to be raised.

Adding more superior bosses ( which is coming as we have seen )

I would love to see more minigames.

But overall i would like Runex to have even more success this year and see the server grow, since it's the best server out there by a long shot.

   I'd like to see some more achievements added and maybe some additions to skilling, similar to ancient urns in the resource gathering way but with some different rewards.

   Getting a unique drop on my first ever cox run with 0 points (my team were only mildly salty).

2. What was your favourite update during 2019?

   Probably the h'ween and Christmas events. I love how active it makes the game and how it encourages you to do all types of activities on the server not just grind the same stuff over and over. The rewards are great too. As everyone else has said as well, collection log and boss points.

1. What would you like to see changed/added on Runex during 2020?

   - more collection logs to do on a medium level account. For example: revenants, battle mages, slayer ( all rare drops from slayer monsters like osrs)     

- more achievements and better rewards from the achievement shop

- add an NPC that allows you to switch the mode of your account. I think a lot of players quit because they realise that they picked a game mode that isnt right for them after playing for a few days, but dont want to restart. This NPC should only be able to change your account once every day (or longer) and cost a relatively high amount of gp as a gold sink( maybe 250m). This would be easy to make as all you would have to do is multiple or divide current xp of each stat by the multipler difference between modes ( e.g. going from supreme to hard would just multiply each stat's xp by 2.5). I think this would increase the player count drastically. However, you would have to cap runex points gained from achievements based on mode to stop people changing modes for easy runex points. 

-add a way to get fancy boxes other than daily money makers

- more guides on the forums, especially explaining a clear path of progress for gear upgrades for ironmen.

Best 2019 memory:

Starting an Ultimate Ironman, falling in love with the game mode and new challenges that it brought to the game.

Favorite update:

Had to be the brimstone slayer tasks and instanced Kourend for slayer. I have always been a player that loves slayer content and activities it is one of my favorite parts of the game. 

Bonus Question:

I was at a crowded party with my girl and she is a short, athletic blonde. Well I lost her halfway through the party and looked around for her, I saw her from across the party ran over and hugged her from behind really hard even picked her up. Well...it wasn't her it was some short dude with the same type of hair. Best part was that she was standing across from him talking to him while this whole thing went on. So, I made a new friend that day since me and that short dude got wayyyy closer than I thought I'd get. Lesson I learned that day was that guys these days looking way to much like women.

Update desired for 2020:

Some nice boosts to end-game range armor (like darkrook and superior hydra), I loved the crest bearer 7.5% for melee and I think making range gear a more powerful option with similar % boosts would be really fun in pvm to go along with zaryte and twisted bows!

I'd Like to say my back to back justi. Faceguard whilest being in call with a few people we ended up dying of laughter.

Favorite  Update?
I ave a few updates that I love, such as Superior bosses and Boss points/perk tree.
But if I had to choose my favorite, I'd like to say the Collection log because it gave me a reason to start playing the game again and actually grind a boss.

Best IRL thing in 2019?
I'd like to say that its my 2week trip to Austria wild camping in the mountains. ( I haven't really had nice moments in the past few years, bitter darkness most of the time )

Updates for 2020
There are several,
- Iknow you're working on Superior GWD bosses and pets, but i feel that aint enough, I'd like to see some new and challenging pvm content.
- Something related to an Item sink, since theres to many items and cash in the game.
- Although everyone adores the events, I'm not against it, but it would be nice to have several new events to do, different rewards, instead of the 10 GM bottles, make it 3, sinks the bottles brought into the game aswell (this is just an example), not a necessity.)
- Make the wildy worth going into, not only the few bosses there are right now. But something else to make it worth being in the Wilderness.

And for the max player count, I have seen the peak around 290.

This one is a long one so get ready for a wild ride. so the guy whose 2 spots under CEO of a huger corp I work at came into my building and brought his daughter from China.(first time in the States and has broken but understandable English) She came up to me and we talked for about 2 hours until she asked me if I wanted to take her on a tour of the building so I said sure. She walks up to my supervisor and demands that he lets me go of my position so I could help her. Being the boss's boss daughter he said yes and we walked around for awhile and talked some more until she brought me to her dads office which only had 2 key cards to get into 1 was with her dad and the other he gave to her. This office was insane couches computers trophies the typical movie office setup to sum it up. She started to get real flirty and sending a lot of signals so I said fuck it and we banged it out in her dads office while he was in a meeting. It was the wildest thing I might've done ever. She went back to China 3 days later and I haven't talked to her since. When I got back to the floor everyone knew what happened because we bother were sweaty and our hair was all fucked up I got high fives and so many people coming up to me asking me about it just laughing their asses off because they knew I just gained power over so many people

Dungeoneering would be really nice! And maybe a better guide that clearly shows the ranks of the Armor sets from low budget to high budget.

And updating in overall the guide's , alot of guides are missing screenshots now because they're not able to see anymore.

1. What would you like to see changed/added on Runex during 2020?

I would like to see an item added. The item would be the "ring of forging" and while wearing this item you would not need to use coal to smith bars.

Also mining could become a bit faster, with perhaps a new dedicated place for mining with more rune rocks and faster tick.

The Halloween event was pretty great since the boss for it, everyone could participate in and could get a decent drop. As for the winter demon, meh.

Explaining to my coworker about a movie scene that completely changed his life about certain things. Also ruining his childhood at the same time which was hilarious to watch his face contort from the realization.

1. What would you like to see changed/added on Runex during 2020?
 Having aggro not intervene with killing something ( killing one lava dragon an then getting another to aggro mid kill which ends off with a partially killed lava dragon and one already in cb.) It gets very annoying during a kill in stronghold afking black dragons as well.
