Return to the Island. CONCEPT We begin with world event. The island our people originated from has been located, off the coast of Southern Misthalin, by the wizards in the wizard tower. There is a problem though, they sent a search party through the portal they managed to open, and they haven’t returned. The portal resonates an evil presence that seems to have leaked into Geilinor, causing madness in the areas it has infested. Who will answer the call? This is an event that would lead into the release of The Island (Raids 2). Which I will post later. CONTENT Players would have to complete tasks to help control the leaking madness. Every milestone of tasks per day would allow players to teleport into the evil itself, to fight whatever is spreading said evil. Ashes of Madness These would be drops from corrupted events, and brought back to the Wizard Tower to help stop the spread of the madness. Events: 3 Examples Crazed Barbarians have Crazed the Barbarian Village! (High Level Event) Undead Barbarians spawn rapidly, attacking everything in-sight, even each other. The Goblins are marching on Falador! A Crazed goblin army would spawn on the road north of Falador leading to the Goblin Village. (Low Level Event) Bandits are raiding the Al Kharid Palace! Crazed Desert Bandits flood into the Al Kharid palace, proclaiming it their own. (Medium Event) Once a certain amount of ashes have been turned in, an Ambassador of Madness would spawn in the center of one of the major cities in Geilinor(Falador, Varrock, Ardougne, etc). After the server kills enough ambassadors, the portal would be re-opened for players to enter and fight the Shade of Madness in the Between . the Between Anger room of Tolna’s Rift Drops Ashes of Madness Dropped from Crazed creatures/humanoids spawned during the world event. Used to spawn an Ambassador of Madness Turning in Ashes will also give the players a random roll for prizes given by the Head Wizard Essense of Madness 100% Drop from Ambassadors of Madness Gives an increased amount of rolls for prizes given by the Head Wizard Shade of Madness Pet Drop from Shade of Madness Limited to event time Portal Key Drop from Shade of Madness Allows players to enter a portal in the Between that leads to The Island. Amulet of Madness Drop from Shade of Madness New BiS or 2nd BiS Hybrid amulet?
