Hello, first of all i want to talk about Ham Solo, one of my best friends who recently passed away due to lung cancer.
I will not be mentioning any information (personal,family,names etc) about his Life, i will only be sharing this experience of why it brought me here.
Ham Absolutely loved runex, he spent days and nights playing it, he never really liked the fact that in runescape you have to buy a membership to access more content since he never really had the ways to purchase a membership, in the recent days he wrote me a letter that goes like this. (the letter was translated from french to english)
< Alexandre (my name) I know that i am not going to make it, i want you to know that you have always been a brother to me, all the good times we had together we may have fought over stupid shit sometimes but i want you to know everything i said to you that made you hurt i am sorry about it, i want you to live the best life you can, if it wasnt for my dad who forced me to smoke cartons of cigarettes after he caught me smoking one in the backyard when i was 8 it wouldnt be this way i would not be hurting my friends and close ones, i became addicted and smoked until the age of 15, when i entirely stopped at once cancer hit me in the worst way possible, i want you to tell your mom how much i appreciate the services she has done for me in the past without her i would not be anywhere you and your family are my saviors, its sad that this piece of shit cancer is taking me away from all of you, i will be watching over take care. >
Along with this letter he wrote his Runex Ironman account informations proceeding to request me to sell everything and host a drop party for the server as a last present from him.
(at this point im honestly crying alot its hard to take what he wrote.. he was a genuinely nice person and im lost without him.)
I have extra information i do not mind sharing to make my case clearer then i will jump straight to the final answer of this subject.
We both lived in the same appartment block, i pay for my own internet and i let him use my wi-fi, (therefore we have the same ip adress)
i am mentioning this because earlier i talked with staff about it and looking and thinking about it, it really does looks fishy, i can understand
the suspicions by the way, Also since i am the last person who logged on his account the mac Ids match for both accounts.
THE FINAL ANSWER :
After talking with Ham"s mom, i even told them about the Runex thing and how much he loved this game.. Heres how the conversation went.
< me : Hey, so im just coming over to ask about a minor thing, since i was only (his name) Friend he sent me this letter requesting to do something with his account on there and the people who run this server are asking me for some credible proof about the account belonging to (his name). >
< her : Okay, what do you need for it? >
< me : basically he really cared about this game, in the letter he mentions he wants me to take his things in the game and giving it to the other players of the game as a last present for the community in there >
I also told them that i played the game myself (which is true i am the one who showed Ham runex, Ham just made me want to play it again).
(to avoid longer discussion for nothing she just mentioned that she didnt want the information of her passed son on the internet, i asked if a death certificate was a thing and she told me that she didnt know
but she would not want that).
I totally understood her response and respected it, i hope the staff team of the server does too, if not i will be banned for *Hacking an account*, now i will say it right now, i have not been threatened to be banned, but the situation makes it look just like i hacked the account and transfered the items.
i wish i could provide proof of this being completely legit, out of my own words, it really happened, i am really destroyed.
Runex Staff , It is now your choice, i tried getting proof, im sad that i probably wont do my friends final deed that he requested me to do, and im probably never gonna be able to play runex again,
i truly care about playing runex it is the most fun in a private server i have ever seen, what i did is against the rules (logging into another persons account and transfering the items).
You can Ban me , which i will understand as sad as it makes me, it is what it is, or you can letme keep playing and proceed to sell the items so i can host the drop party.
This is why i am posting this in Farewell, it may just be that.
