    Dragonfire shield not charging

    So I've owned a dfs for quite some time already and been waiting for this to get fixed. Since that hasn't happened, I'm posting this. DFS is not charging up. It's stuck at the lowest, mith shield level and every absorbed dragonfire attack should increase it's defensive abilities by 1, except that they don't. And this is really annoying. - Correction... It does charge up, but the defensive stats don't increase.

    Just that aviansies are supposed to be lvl 1 slayer as far as I know.

    So I got as a slayer task to kill some Aviansies... The only problem is, I can't attack them. I'm wearing my range gear, magic shortbow and rune arrows. It doesn't attack, and no text pops up that I would be unable to attack. If I change to mage gear, it starts saying that I need to range them. I switch back to range gear and nothing happens again. My slayer level is 53, ranged level 58.
