Works as intended @The Chicken, Crafting gems does not count neither does jewerly. The chance to save materials is strictly when crafting leather items. The tooltip can be little deciving. If this was not the right thing I tested Pm me on discord and we can chat about it if it was refering to the leather it does work. Using 26 leathers and getting 16 legs back that uses 2leathers each means I saved 6leathers in this 1 attempt.

Hello, I am sure this "concept" has been proposed and shot down numerous times already as I already find it to be an annoying yet understandable mechanic. Lets get down to it. Essentially the TLDR for this is a method of recycling junk items into a "task" system of sorts for a 1:10 chance to receive an untradeable fail stack item (name tbd) enchantable with a 100% success rate with 5k rune coins and maybe a grand crest and or an imbuing stone (that may be too expensive so perhaps just the untradeable fail stack and 5k rune coins). This item would become a fail stack, used in enchanting and would serve as in the event of a failed enchantment instead of loosing everything you either lose a random item involved in the enchanting process or you keep your items completely. The item is consumed regardless of a successful enchantment. In order to receive the "untradeable fail stack item (name tbd)" you must kill the Junk Meister. A new boss of mid tier difficulty (stats and damage wise). The only stipulation is you must be wielding an assorted pre determined junk set which you will receive as a drop in the form of a clue scroll or bottle or something of that nature from random monsters throughout RuneX at a rate comparable of an elite clue scroll. This clue scroll would not provide the junk items required but tell you the junk items you must wear before you can fight the Junk Meister. Similarly to clue scrolls you may only have one at a time. Perhaps varying difficulty such as easy - master? Maybe not tho as these would already be fairly "rare". Upon completing the fight all your equipped junk gear will be consumed and you'll receive a junk chest. Which then must be filled with assorted random amount of junk items incremental dependent upon donator status. IE: Mythic 25 items, Sponsor 35 items, Legend 40 items, Vip & below 50 items? Numbers could be determined I just gave those as an example. These items would be random but specific, basically receive a list of items that you must use on it in order to unlock it. Upon completing the junk chest you'll receive a 1:10 chance for the above mentioned fail stack item. Other loot would consist of other "junk" items that could be kept on kill. Meaning items that wouldn't disappear whenever you kill the Junk Meister and could be universal. So when the task says to wear a rune bucket helm you could have a Junk Neitiznot which can be worn instead of the rune bucket helm and wouldn't disappear whenever you kill the boss. Pros: New mechanic that is optional to improve enchantment odds at the expense of a large portion of time necessary to gather and complete the "clue scrolls" per to say. Give purpose to otherwise junk items that are just dropped or ::emptied already. As you can see there are a lot of fail safes involved to make this non buyable so the rich cant spam them out. Theoretically increase enchantment potential so you don't have to relentlessly grind content you hate if you are unlucky. Promote community trading of items otherwise never used. Cons: Could theoretically create "rare" junk items. Bank Space issues to stock up on junk items. Honestly putting too much value on junk items as is, this could be a problem with junk items losing their purpose of junk items. People who successfully enchanted hard items on existing mechanic feeling jipped. Making enchanting too easy. Honestly just thought about this while in the shower earlier and wanted to spit it out before I forgot it. Please let me know what you think below, and please atleast read the post in its entirety and if you're going to disagree at least give a reason. Thanks!!
