Hello, Runex
As most of you are aware, the "end game" for skilling isn't the most rewarding. Don't you think it's about time we gave back to all the shark spearing, twig chopping, iron melting sons of farmers?
Skilling itself isn't the best money maker as is, so we need to implement something that makes all that work worth it. In the future, I would like to see something more rewarding during the process of reaching "end game skilling".
But for the time being, here's what I suggest, something for all you lovely skillers out there to set your eyes on and have an end goal.
As far as I'm aware, @Nate is already working on individual 200m skillcapes.
What I would suggest for these is to add different coloured particles/steam coming off of the bottom of the capes for supreme and prime Orange steam = Supreme Red steam = Prime Here, I have made two examples for the 200m thieving cape:
Furthermore, I would also suggest 200m Max capes (200m in all skills).
I would like the see the cape completely coloured in the colour scheme corresponding to each gamemode, including the steam.
The harder the gamemode, allows you wear the capes below that gamemode.
For example:
Supreme can equip: Supreme, hard and normal 200m max capes.
Prime can equip: All 200m max capes.
Next, I would like to move onto the this suggestion. Something for skillers to REALLY work HARD for, something that seems like a very long road to go down (WHICH IT IS) but, it’s a very nice status symbol once achieved. I'm talking about adding "Graceful enchanted dye" into the skiller store.
To buy this this dye, you will need:
1500 Skiller points + 750 Marks of grace (per dye)
A great suggestion from @Vise: You will need to have completed 150 achievements to be able to purchase this set.
A lot of people will say this is too hard to achieve, that's the point. It's not meant to be easy to get..
This set would have an experience bonus, replacing the current best skilling set which consists of:
Varrock armour 4: 20% exp boost
Safety gloves: 2.5% exp boost
Fighting boots: 2.5% exp boost
Grand backpack: 15% exp boost (There are none in-game, also, it requires a fair amount of money to obtain).
Enchanted backpack 10% exp boost
The total of the set mentioned above, adds up to a 40% exp boost (including Grand backpack and doesn't include addition skilling equipment)
So, I'm suggesting that each piece Enchanted graceful pieces gives 10% exp boost and an additional 15% if wearing the full set, leaving that at a total of a
75% (6 x 10% + 15%) exp boost.
This may seem like a very high % but, you need to consider the amount of time it takes to get it.
It is mainly aimed at those who are already maxed and wish to try obtaining the 200m capes and the 200m max capes.
In addition to the exp bonus for wearing the full set,
there will be a small % chance to obtain double resources from a gathering skill or a chance to note gathered resources.
A great suggestion from @Iron Logic, is for the enchanted graceful cape to be attachable to a max cape for a price of 500m.
This would allow the exp bonus to work along side the max cape perks.
To take a bit of the sting off of this intense grind for enchanted graceful, I think rooftop agility would perfectly coincide with this suggestion.
This has been sort after for a long time and what better time to implement it with the coordination of this suggestion.
Thank you for taking the time to read this thread.
I would love to hear all feedback, positive or negative, all is welcome.
(All recolours were rushed and not done accurately. They are merely there to give you an idea of what is in my mind).
Thanks again,
Kong
