Windows 10 reassigning java

Recommended Posts

5uvh49R.pngWith the newest upgrade of Windows, the upgrade to Windows 10, a few slight issues have been spotted with assigning .jar files, also known as Java-bin files.

Alot of Windows 10 systems simply don't see the .jar file in association with Java, and will often assign programs like WinRar to try and open the .jar files.

There is a quick and simple way to fix this silly issue.

First of all, make sure you have downloaded the latest version of Java.
You can do so here -->
https://www.java.com/download/

Second of all, you will need to download the .jarfix made by Johann Löfflmann.
This is the download link -->
http://johann.loeffl...oads/jarfix.exe

By clicking this link, you will instantly download the Jarfix.Exe

Open the Jarfix.exe and you will receive the following message
jarfix-success-win7-en.png

This will reassign all the .jar files back to Java, as it's supposed to be.

This should fix all your Java based issues!

If this didn't fix the issue for you, feel free to shoot a Forum's PM my way, and we'll figure out what's going on, together.

If this did help, I wish you alot of fun on our beloved Runex!
