How to brew a Potion:

A guide to starting your very own apothecary!

(Feel free to post your comments below, thank you!)

Table of contents:

The basics:

Spoiler

Herblore is both a useful and often profitable skill. The potions you create can aid players with everything from

killing bosses to refilling run energy and protecting from dragon fire.

Begin by locating the "Master Crafter" npc in Edgeville

Making your first potion:

Spoiler

Unfinished potions can be created by anyone regardless of Herblore level by using any clean herb on a vial of water.

Note: This will not provide herblore experience but is a necessary step in making potions.

To finish the potion you will need to use a secondary ingredient on your unfinished potion.

You must also have the required Herblore level.

Purchase water filled vials and secondary ingredients from the Herblore store as shown in the pictures below:

Herbicide:

It can be purchased from either the Runex point store for 50k Runex or the Donator shop for 700 tickets.

Herbicide is great for those who prefer to level herblore without actually making potions.

If the item is kept in your inventory it will consume all noted and un-noted herb drops from pvm into 2x the experience you would receive from cleaning the herbs. Additionally you can enchant your Herbicide into an Herbicide(i) for 3x the experience.

Super Combat Potions:

To make a super combat potion you must all of the following in your inventory:

Super attack(4), Super strength(4), and Super defense(4), Clean Torstol.

Then you must use the clean Torstol on one of the Super potions.

It seemed like it could be of some use, at the very least the potion chart.
