    The state of PVP

I agree that the current state of pvp is pretty bad, and it is something the staff and development team are well aware of. Internal discussions around this topic have identified a lot of key combat issues and imbalances that have been prioritized over adding new content to the wilderness. Nate has made some great changes in recent updates, fixing the magic formula, which was a key issue, though things like teleblocks, weapon imbalances etc still need to be addressed. But once those issues are solved, we have a metric tonne of wilderness related content for pvmers, skillers and pkers in the pipe line that we will poll in the near future. As for your suggestions, 1. I think a revitalized blood money shop would be amazing, but we probably don't want to add weapons like you described because it does essentially set a price to everything since blood money is much easier to attain at a set rate then say getting an e-maul from CoX. I think we can add pvp focused upgrades for said weapons in some cases, and possibly some new weapons and accessories. I'd also love to add a wilderness perk tree, where players can spend blood money and pk points (If they are added) to gain wilderness perks for skilling, pvm and pvp (Nothing OP though). 2. I think adding a banker and healer at the ditch will be great. As for getting the area more active, we could add in the pk points mentioned above and then give players bonus points for pking at edgeville ditch. 3. Revamps and new additions are definitely on the cards, one of the things I want to do is review every piece of wilderness content and evaluate its place in the current state of Runex, a lot of things used to be great, but have since been over shadowed and it is time we bump them back up a bit. Overall great suggestions

    Runelite+ Integration

I don't believe we have an official answer on If/When we may get Runelite integration. From what I have heard, since Runex is a highly customized server, Runelite integration will be tough and likely non functional with plugins that rely on reading items. Such as the ground item overlay, I feel like they would have added the Runelite plugin for this if it were easier than developing it themselves. I hope we get an answer as to if we will ever get plugins, and if not, why. I'll push this post to the developers and staff to see if they can give some more incite.

What you guys want to see.

    1. New staff members and a general change to the way in which 'Server Supports' are treated. The staff team has at times been a little club of friends, and this has brought about a lot of underlying issues. Being friends as staff isn't a huge issue, but when you are all friends beforehand and then all get staff you tend to bring in the same mindset, and their is less room for debate or disagreement on things like punishments and rule changes and even things like potential reports of staff abuse are seen/felt more personal than they should be. There is also the fear that if 80% of the staff team are friends and one leaves, another might leave, and then 2 more and then all 5 are gone in a short period leaving a huge gap. None of this is directed at any current staff, as I don't even play at the minute, but it had been an issue for years. Server supports should be 2 week trials for any players that apply and meet the criteria for staff, because no-one know how someone will act as a staff member compared to a general player. I voted against many players that turned out to be good staff simply because they didn't feel like staff material while they were a player. Everyone should get a chance and we would see a larger and more diverse staff team. 2. Events need to be toned down dramatically. I quit during every event because they are so overpowered, I can't play a relaxing RSPS if every waking minute I feel like I need to click 10000 winter imps because that's the fastest way to progress any account, main, iron, uim, hcim, gim. The events are a great way to get new players and a lot of the community enjoys them, but they are destroying our economy and we need to find a method to make them fun and attractive to new players without the drawbacks we currently have. 3. QoL updates. This is a hard one to talk about, because everyone seems to want QoL at the moment, but the last time we had an actual 100% QoL update, soooo many people bitched that there was no new content to enjoy. So it's hard to tell the developers what to do when they cop shit regardless of what they do for us. What we really need is some consistency, we don't need a huge content drop once a month, we need a specific day, be it weekly or bi-weekly, that whatever is ready gets released. Too often we have a 2-4 week delay on an update because of 1 thing we can't get quite right. So just release everything else and fix that issue for new week. 4. Discord bot integration. It may seem small, but having some fun bots for the community in the discord keeps our players around even when they are not playing Runex. Let's get that OSbot action rolling. 5. Voting Rewards. Runex has some of the most disappointing voting rewards of any RSPS. Chuck a simple donor mystery casket in the daily reward (Caskets are the lowest tier) or even a custom voting mystery box. People loooove these RNG boxes for that chance at bank loot. There are some servers I don't even play anymore, but I still vote on them every few days to make a load of money and get a bit of dopamine opening boxes, Runex is unfortunately not one of them.

    Revisiting the Nerfs of 2020

@Toxic Main On the kharazi stuff, it has never been properly rebalanced since release, back when MSB, Rune C'bow and granite items were considered good. It is a self-contained pvp minigame, and we need to be careful to not increase the time from start to end-game too much, otherwise new players just wont join in. I'm sure you'd feel differently about the balance within if Tranquil wasn't your friend and instead hunted you down, as what can you do to beat him, he's so progressed and has items that take 100s of hours to get with decent RNG. Touching on the rarity of the wilderness pets and donor mbox mega rares only highlights why they need to be removed, as someone will hit the jackpot one day and completely destroy the balance within Kharazi, both pvm and pvp. Kharazi should have their own cursed caskets, with the normal mega rares removed and the junk items replaced with things more useful inside of kharazi.

    Revisiting the Nerfs of 2020

Wonderful post. I think it is important to note that Runex was facing some big issued in 2019/2020 due to the excessive AFKing people were doing. 3 Alts at GWD just farming up those crests and runecoins while playing Rust or League, and we had to take some drastic action to fix it. However, each time we thought we fixed it, the players we were worried about just moved on over to something just as AFK or were able to circumvent our nerfs. We do need to go back and rework some of the nerfs and remove others, but before we do we will need to make some other changes. Such as splitting GWD in to two areas, one for the normal GWD for new players and one for superior GWD. GWD is meant to be a starter boss, but once you add a superior with some really good drops, it becomes end-game AFK fodder, which was the biggest mistake we have made to GWD. The accessories needed to be changed, and I see their current position as a good one, diminishing returns offers a better variety of set-ups to use outside of being a mega rich player with 18 pet switches. The Kharazi pet thing was the right decision, sure it is super rare to get one of those pets, but they offer a pretty big advantage to the player who obtained them. You can technically get things like a zaryte bow etc if you get lucky. Cursed Casket > Donor Mystery Box > Dumb OP shit for kharazi. The minigame needs an overhaul, but we never came to a proper decision on how to do it, since players already have OP stuff, but we can't exactly reset everyone and expect no backlash. On the topic of communication, Runex has always struggled, and Ryan and Nate are in the same boat. I've been trying to get them to communicate more for years, hosting developer Q&As, begging them to reply to suggestion posts and one of the last things I managed to do during my "Departure" from the staff team was to get them to promise to increase communications. Which happened for a few weeks. Their major issue is getting all the Admins together to discuss things each time a new 'communication' is needed. What they really need to do is talk to James once, and get a bi-weekly, or monthly schedule for communications. James can gather the topics players want to be discussed on a poll on the prior post and send those to Nate, Ryan and Ramzi to reply to in their own time before the next post is due. As for the suggestion squad, we need more members. Some previous members destroyed the trust that the staff team has for new members, and while it's nice to know that they trust Bind and myself, we may as well just discuss suggestions in our PMs, or in a group chat with Rawruwu, as he's the only other active member. It went from checking discord everyday to see 50-500 messages I need to catch up on, to 2-3 days without a message. The holiday season might explain some of it, but not all. I don't really care what Nate, Ryan or James have to do to get the team going again, I just want an actual team, so we can get shit done that the community wants to see. With SS communications, I'd love to make posts going through everything we discuss and their outcomes, polling for feedback etc, but no-one cares about a post from a player, the 'admin' badge is a magnet for replies because it is official. I have faith that Runex will thrive in 2021, and the community needs to be a bigger part of decision making, and that will happen as long as players like you keep speaking out. Thanks for this post, I look forward to seeing what comes of it.

A staff position would divide your attention away from your current job, posting facebook memes in the discord. Sorry, going to have to -0.1 this one.

    2020 Hween Event Changes

The Hween event is definitely lacking and players are expressing their disappointment. The SS and staff teams will be working closely with the development team in the coming days to fine tune things to improve the event. So please give us as much feedback as possible, no matter how obvious it may seem. Please be civil though, cheers.

    Rogues Castle Doors and Staircase

+ 1 for adding in the functionality of the castle with some high level rogues to kill, as well as some that allow for pickpocketing, perhaps around level 90 thieving requirement. Though we will likely see a similar mechanic to the lava maze ladder, where you can't just climb up and down constantly to get a log out, instead after a few repeated climbs, you'll have a short cooldown.

    Making Chompy hunting fun

Chompy hunting definitely needs some touches to make the content a little more useful after the log. I'd love to see a chompy boss, it would be really interesting to see players trying to kill a boss with ogre arrows/bow.

    UIm PoH integrity

I'd really like to see this implemented, but I don't see it happening due to the amount of time UIM has been out. I played UIM on release and got to fairly mid-game and the amount of things you can just store, lootbag and coffer just made it seem like ironman with extra steps. I'm fine with the coffers, but the POH storage is so OP, practically any gear or utility item can be banked without cost or obtaining a full set.

    Comp Cape (i)

Hey brother, sorry for the late reply. The suggestion squad has been discussing the possibility for a Trimmed Comp cape in the future, which would require additional achievements outside of those we would require for regular comp. That being said, I personally don't like the idea of any completionist cape being combined with a 200m cape. This is due to the completionist cape being a bridge between all experience modes, as most achievements aren't effected by Exp rates. The 200m cape on the other hand couldn't be further from that. Though a combination of a 200m cape, and a Trimmed comp cape may be something more passable depending on the achievements required for comp (t), if we do decide to add that.
