    Kraken and Zulrah drop rates are vastly lower because they are an instanced boss, this has been confirmed in game by Nate (Chris had a screenshot of him saying this somewhere i'll try to find it). So unless they alter the drop rates on every boss this is the same unfair advantage that ironmen would have if they had there own world. I agree that the system should be re-worked however I was always told never to complain about something without a solution. Therefore that is the only reason I didn't address it as so. Reading this confused me slightly I think I know what you are trying to say but you use negatives where you did not mean to or maybe you did and you are against the topic? I am going to continue on presuming this was just typo's 1. The drastic side has both pro's and con's. Pro's being of course that an ironmen could not ruin the eco at all. However I think more thought (not by you, but by the Dev's) needs to be put in on how they can still make killing ironmen rewarding without making it OP and having PKers just hunt them specifically. 2. If this suggestion is without the first suggestion in play then it's useless. Ironmen would be trading gold (which it honestly couldn't cost that much as I imagine a ironman with a lot of gold is maybe 1.5b) for items which more than likely are going to be worth more then the gold in the eco value.

    Gross, I like where this idea started, but helping each other as an ironman seems pointless to the play style. Maybe a instanced to where only ironmen could see the boss but, personally (and I am speaking for alot of higher Ironmen) they'd disagree with duo / trioing as it takes away from solo play. If ironmen die in the wilderness who ever killed them can see all the juicy loot... YEEET.

    I completely understand man, and again I am allllll for you guys getting a great update that can fix this. Yeah I was thinking more and more about it, seems like its full proof to an extent, and simple and easy fix.

    That is talking about someone using a main / ironman to duo bosses, I think you are mixed up for multi-logging in the wilderness.

    Well if they took it away, there would be no reason to PK an ironman as you'd get no loot, so unless they made ironmens loot auto disappear (which to be honest could be a great idea) but with how little PKing goes on in the wilderness currently I am not sure they'd do that.

    Again I totally agree with this, however now this goes into staff manpower / time. This would put more constraint on the already huge workload that our 3-4 staff members have. Do we really want 2-5 reports a day of Ironman abusing this new update with there mains? Just seems like overall not worth it, which again does suck. That's just where my thought process is at on this. EDIT: 2-5 is probably over kill, i'd assume 1 maybe 2 every 2-3 days.

    OOo true, true, trueeeee; I did forget about that tad bit, but again where there's a will there's a way, why wouldn't I duo bosses on my main with my ironman if that was the case though? Faster kills etc, I know most people wouldn't do that, but its the rotten eggs that spoil the bunch.

    1. I've traded with ironmen before, whether its ::redskulling or from various other ways they get the items to there main account. (Trading for bonds before you could use them on players) 2. Again that would mean an ironman could camp any boss for as long as he gets the first hit. 3. I am on the fence about this one, just because they can still transfer stuff to mains, and in my eyes this makes being an ironman incredibly easy. Maybe like an ironman second world? In which only ironmen could log into it. This way ironmen wouldn't each get a instanced boss but rather would only have to fight among themselves? That's the best idea I currently have.

    This is not true, a decent amount of bosses need specific items to make them easily solo-able. Example Corp, without this rule I could easily get 1 hit on my ironman then solo it on my main because I don't have a gilded cannon on my ironman nor a hasta drop yet. Or maybe a boss that requires mage, maybe I don't want to waste my runes, there's so many exploits I can see from changing this rule. EDIT: And again I'm not against ironmen by any means, I understand it's a shitty thing to deal with; its just that there's no real work around that anyone can think of.

    I can see the frustration, but no one is forcing anyone to play an ironman. Sadly doing anything that has currently been suggested is way to overpowered. 1. Instanced bosses for ironmen: This is both unfair and overpowered as the top ironmen could easily ruin eco's of items simply by camping the boss without any competition and dropping the loot to the main. Also this means making an ironman means you'll never be crashed. 2. Make it so ironmen get the drop if they attack a boss whether or not anyone else attacks the boss: Again this goes against "playing without any aid" It's RuneScape guys, you've seen how this went on OSRS and you still signed up for the handy cap. I understand its probably the most frustrating thing in the world, and if a good suggestion is brought up to fix the problem, I'd be down 100% to support this.     Okay, so let me make sure I got this down, you'd like to see the method in which I mine runite ore and coal, and form them into bars per inventory compared to turning in granite for runite ore and coal from the granite mine correct? The only reason this is semi confusing to me is the ore that comes from the granite mine would be noted, therefor I don't see a reason to do it per inventory rather then stockpile for an hour. I'll do it if you'd like to see it, I just want to make sure though.

    With no real reasoning, I am a man of reasoning, the only real argument I've heard is "that's not how OSRS is" and "it's not multi" which neither of those really can apply, since again this is a custom server, with MANY things different then osrs, and they are right it's not multi, the monster will stop attacking you once the player does. It's just giving priority to the player in the wilderness is all. Also it's not a majority 3 people voted against it and a few spoke out against in on this thread. I count 5 people in-game against it as well. But again with nothing to back it up, I don't mean to banter, but it just seems like they all want easy scape where they can afk to 10b bank.

    "High Risk" What is the high risk? Losing max 1-5M worth of gear for a potential at gear worth 100-500m? Let's be realistic here, no one brings items to the wilderness that they can't afford to lose, rather they shouldn't. Just like gambling don't bring what you cant afford to lose, the caverns are currently way to overpowered, some of the best xp in-game and literally zero risk for all that juiciness. Pkers are apart of every ECO server, and therefore should have the right to get into some fights while you are in the WILDERNESS that's the entire reason the caves where created. The fact that people think its stupid that Pkers can finally get priority in an update that was made for them instead of resorting to killing skillers that will just give them minimum blood money. When we really break this down I cannot even see the parties counter that is not for this. 1. Best xp in-game for a ton of skills (I can legit risk 1m and get xp that is x3 over anywhere else) 2. Farmable Cata tokens for Supreme / Prime (again risking 1m) that's a 1m risk for tokens that are x3 xp 3. Value able drops ranging from 30-200M only obtainable here (again welfare gear cost a few mill at max) 4. EASY escape routes, most pkers bring freezes, by just brining TB runes and running through any of the portals = easy escape. If you have 100 BM on you insta tele back home. 5. Update was intended for more activity in the wilderness So the fact that everyone is freaking out that now Pkers can attack you off of a mob in the wilderness blows my mind. How much reward do you want for zero risk? This isn't OSRS so I am not sure why I keep hearing this in everyone argument in game. This is a custom server with tons of custom content. This is the way the Dev's think the wilderness should be and honestly they are not wrong IMO. It was made for players to get into combat with other players, if you don't like this you can easily just stay away from the caves.

    Okay, so alot of people have talked about this as a sub-subject in there posts, and I for one am all about this. I made this thread for input from the community and to show the Dev's that this is something we actually would watch / want as a whole. I will explain it in an easy 5 paragraph order who what where when why. (This is talking about how we would make the update videos via a "ADMIN test account".) Who: Any capable TRUSTED member could accomplish this role, I think as a community we would want to make sure the account is trade blocked, so that no funny business would go on behind close doors obviously my top picks for this would be @Roger @Iron Logic and basis @Rolla. As I was brainstorming this idea what we easily could do is a combination of all 3 of us, meaning Roger takes care of the commentating (trust me you don't want to hear my voice every update) I could log on to test new xp/h methods and those could be implemented into the video as well, and Logic could maybe give how this effects ironmen or even the in-depth analysis. Doing it this way we would have 3 experienced members of the community, 1 being a mod for ages and probably has the best over-all knowledge on the server, logic being the top ironman and can get into all the small details, and myself being a stats whore and xp/h whore who loves getting into the number crunching factors. All three of us have played for a great amount of time and all three of us have a great amount to lose if we try to abuse said account. What: This account would primarily be used to showcase how the update works in every aspect, whether that be showing a new boss off, or showing a new item introduced to the game, we would have the ability to spawn all items to showcase them (an example being how to create the new rings that require 2500 RoW and 10 ancient shards) we would be able to spawn all those and show you how to create said ring without grinding for a week + to push out a video that would be a whole update behind. But also this account could be used to give Mystery Box ratio samples. I honestly think its complete bullshit that random YouTubers that don't play the server react to opening 100 Mystery Chests when they don't know what they are even looking at. This way we could get a true players reaction and they wouldn't sound like a complete dumb ass when talking about the rewards they are receiving. Also since I am sure we are all more then willing to do this for free, this could free up money to put into advertising elsewhere. Where: Obviously this is the simplest of the W's on RuneX and uploaded to both the forums and YouTube. When: I think either the day after the update comes out or if possible, played on a test server version of the game and can be posted with the update? Why: Easily this would increase our player base by a decent amount, after all when I research servers I like to see updates and how each one is, simply reading over updates can be confusing if you've never played on the server and don't understand it very well. But having a weekly YouTube video displaying each of the quality updates we get as a server would do wonders. Secondly again this would save money and confusion among players. I found a random "Patch Note's" video from the official RuneScape YouTube, and I think something similar to this would be 10/10 and not very hard to do. With going more in-depth ofc

    It's the wilderness the way it should be intended, the caverns where made as a high risk high reward factor. I understand you all enjoyed just staying in combat with a monster and getting great loot for zero risk. However its the wilderness, never go with anything you don't want to lose and always intend on getting pked. I understand its frustrating to constantly get killed by a pker when you are simply skilling on PvMing, but again it was made for that purpose and this update simply made sure of that. A huge amount of players complained that the wilderness was dead, most pkers do not like to have to kill skillers as they have zero risk and really no reward, now pkers can at least attack geared players.

    @Nate I am sorry you feel this way about the phrase "dead content" I don't mean it in a disrespectful way (nor does @Iron Logic) the way most players define "dead content" is simply a place that is no longer relevant to do, a good example of this would be if we had t80 t90 and t99 armor, this would make bandos dead content due to it being 1 easily farm-able and 2 not being BiS or even 2nd BiS. With all the updates being pushed out certain tier items and weapons are getting rapidly left behind. The easiest ways I see to fix this is add more achievements to kill certain bosses / monsters or add the boss drops to task bottle requirements. Or even something like Spk where you can exchange items for blood diamonds so that there's always a reason to go farm those bosses. We by no mean that any content that is out is "unplayable" the Dev's do an amazing job of pushing out quality updates. It's the reason I still donate to this day, I would never support anything I didn't agree with (minus RoW doing videos I agree with pretty much everything) As far as the "sneak peak" or someone having access to a test account similar to how RuneScape does it with Mod Lee I legit 100% think the Dev's should look into this for us, like im BEGGING. This would hugely impact our server in a great way, most players don't know what 80% of these updates mean and it causes a lot of confusion. I would make a video on my normal account but most updates have things that could take upwards of a week to complete meaning the video would come out late instead of maybe the next day. Giving a test account to someone like @Roger who has been around since the start and knows all the ins and out or someone such as @Iron Logic who really gets into the small details, or even someone like myself, who is an efficient freak and likes to go into major detail on skilling updates. This is something I'd like to see over anything else, and I would personally buy whom ever this account was given to: a nice studio quality mic, I would purchase the software myself for said person. This is an idea that would put RuneX in the #1 spot easily. If nothing else got done besides this I would be the happiest player alive.

    What software do you use for editing / recording? I love things like this so keep it up. Also go cut the cursed tree until you are 50m xp it will take about 25 hours but the amount of catas you will get mean your next 300ish hours will be x3 xp, which is worth it. Add me in-game and ill show you the method.

    I mean if someone really wants this, and someone is willing to do it for free, how hard would it be to try to contact @Ryan @Ramzi @Nate for a test account that has everything in the newest patch, that cannot trade / drop items. To review it? For example showing how to get the new rings by giving them 2500 row and then everyone can see how they are made? I would be more then willing to do this however doing it on my own account for certain updates would take days to get items needed to show how things work.

    @Iron Logic First off thank you for taking the time to think and write this up, this is a huge reason why I think you should be the next staff member. Taking the time to think through all these improvements shows your dedication and love for the server. Below are my thoughts on everything, sorry my reply took so long, I was re-reading / testing xp/h on certain things before I gave my opinion. Skills Farming: I agree with eveything stated here but would like to add on here to the trees part. I think if these are added they should have similar OSRS wait times, or changed xp rates, as with the current farm tic growth this xp/h would be insane. Agility: Fuck yes, we need rooftops, BAD. Replacing the stams with amylase crystals = more ways to train herb plus this means a decently afkable way of training herb so I am 100% with it. Re-colored graceful... i've offered 1k for a green recolored so I think we all know my answer on this part as well. Hunter: Again I do agree with everything stated here. Basically theres two main chin spots if any more then 2 people try to train there at the same time your xp/h is basically cut in half. Construction: I honestly think all this can wait. There's nothing that can really be added that would be a HUGE impact, since we have the doc at edge the replen pools are not needed and we can teleport around the game via spellbook. I can see why you'd want the costume / trunk for bank space as an ironman, but why not just do hidy holes or something like that so you are only keeping items needed for clues etc. Runecrafting: While this should stay a slow skill I agree with you that it is TOO slow, its less than half the xp/h of agility, which is just dumb. Adding pouches and maybe tweaking the xp/h just a tiny bit or adding cloths that give xp bonuses would help this skill. Firemaking: Meh, maybe adding windertodt, but unless it gave some op shit it would be dead content. Fishing: No brainer I agree 100% Mining: Coal bag yes, new rocks yes, making the rocks like tree's I disagree with, for one it would be slower xp/h and two the xp/h is already pretty dang high. I understand it's a high apm skill but it's close to 1m xp/h as a prime without any xp boosters and for that I do not think it needs any sort of buff. Achievements: I disagree with lowering the amount of ckeys, while this is a hard task to complete for ironman its not near impossible, I myself tested over 30 ckeys an hour from doing barrows runs, but you also get a decent chunk of them from just about everything. Same with man hunting, it honestly would just make comp way easier to accomplish, which I don't want. Wizardy I agree with, I thought this was a weird one for not being the same as the others. Daily money making tasks 100% add a barrows daily task. I also agree that randomising the skilling dailies would have more people completing them as right now it's massively repetitve and to most players not even worth doing past the achievements As for mini games, while I am all for new content, I am not for Devs wasting time on insta dead content which farming / firemaking mini game would be, and the only work around I could think of for this would be to make the supplies you get from crates OP (which would ruin the small skilling eco we have) or introduce some sort of op weapon. I do however agree with the modifying the fight caves. Ult ironman is a fuck yeah simply because I know how bad everyone wants it, however this would take a very long time as they'd have to make sure the game is even via-able for such a thing and would 100% have to introduce looting bag and just making sure no bugs will occur that could destory all progress made on the ult. (I know in osrs early on there was a bug that didn't let you re-loot your stuff you had in your looting bag) King Lava Dragon Again, this needs to be fixed ASAP, this is already dead content, reading over your reasoning I'd agree with everthing stated here. And lastly the donor boxes, I 100% agree there should at min be a month where no new items are obtainable via mboxes, I know donating runs the server and this is someones paycheck, however this ruins the eco of new items fast.
