Superior Wilderness Bosses The recent wilderness boss rework that happened in osrs is the perfect opportunity to show RuneX's wildy bosses some love too. However, instead of a full rework like they did in osrs, my suggestion is to add superior versions of Calisto, Venenatis and Vet'ion. Introduction To fight the new superior wilderness bosses you first have to unlock at least the first new perk on the boss point tree, with the possibility of unlocking a second perk to increase the spawn rate. New perks: Superior Wilderness Bosses I 5,000 boss points 1/500 chance to spawn superior wilderness bosses Superior Wilderness Bosses II 10,000 boss points 1/250 chance to spawn superior wilderness bosses This would branch off the Superior Slayer Bosses II, like shown in the picture below: Artio (Superior Calisto) Special drops: Claws of callisto 1/500 Drop rate Combine with Viggora's chainmace to craft the new Ursine Chainmace Voidwaker hilt 1/1000 Drop rate Used to craft the new Voidwaker sword Calvar'ion (Superior Vet'ion) Special drops: Skull of Vet'ion 1/500 Drop rate Combine with Thammaron's sceptre to craft the new Accursed Sceptre Voidwaker blade 1/1000 Drop rate Used to craft the new Voidwaker sword Spindel (Superior Venenatis) Special drops: Fang of venenatis 1/500 Drop rate Combine with Craw's bow to craft the new Webweaver bow Voidwaker gem 1/1000 Drop rate Used to craft the new Voidwaker sword New weapons Ursine Chainmace Stronger version of the viggora's chainmace, best-in-slot melee weapon for wilderness pvm. Accursed Sceptre Stronger version of the thammaron's sceptre, best-in-slot magic weapon for wilderness pvm. Webweaver bow Stronger version of the craw's bow, best-in-slot ranged weapon for wilderness pvm. Voidwaker New PvP Spec weapon that has a special attack that deals between 50% and 150% of melee max hit but with magic and consumes 50% of the special attack energy. Observations This is just a rough draft/idea, would love to have more community input on this.

Hey friends, As many of you have heard over the last year and some change, I originally revived and recreated the Runex Wiki via Fandom. Since then, and especially in the last few weeks, a lot of things have changed in regards to the wiki and more importantly, the people working on it. @big fat has been a vital part of a gigantic, ongoing conversion process from ugly old Fandom to MediaWiki, which is the same 'base' that the OSRS and RS3 wikis use. All of the backend work has been done by him and for that, I couldn't be more grateful. This has allowed for so much progress within the last couple weeks that very soon, we will be ready to officially "launch" the wiki. That being said, we could use your help in making this everything it can be. Obviously, we're looking at thousands of pages overall that need to be touched up, modified, and even created from scratch. A lot of this process is being automated, particularly all of the specific item pages (e.g. Kharazi Mask), and will only require us to add short descriptions and instructions for how to obtain said items. Other pages, such as guides for PVM, moneymaking, skilling, etc. will also need to be added. Majority, if not all, of the guides from the Fandom wiki have been moved over already - but the reality is that this just scratches the surface of where we would like things to be. If you'd like to take a peak at the wiki in it's current state, you can have a look here: https://runex.info/ (best viewed with a 1080p monitor, as of right now) We've spoken with black Jesus and should be launching officially with a different URL in the near future. Stay tuned for that. :^) So... What am I looking for? Players that are interested in creating guides and informative pages for content on Runex. This will entail things such as our custom gear (e.g. Crestbearer, Crestroot, Ancrestral), custom minigames (e.g. Kharazi, Elite Barrows, Inferno), skilling guides for efficiency and profit, and so much more that we've already began to work on. Who am I looking for? Anyone with a somewhat broad knowledge of Runex that wants to help out the player base more than they already are. What would you be doing? Basically, whatever you want to do. If you feel like creating a moneymaking guide, do that. If you want to make an efficient guide for getting 1-99 Slayer, that's fine too. Interested? Here's a rough idea how things will work. Within the Runex Wiki Discord, there will be channels allocated to unfinished pages, submitted pages (completed), and approved pages. You can either choose a random page or one from the list of (more urgent) unfinished pages and get to work. Once you feel the page is complete, you will submit it in the second channel. This is where a Wiki Moderator will review your page to ensure its accuracy and presentability. If all things check out, the page will be moved to the approved pages channel and you will get credit for completing a page. Incentives are something we haven't yet discussed but once things are situated and it's decided what they may be, all of the contributors will have their names on a list that will be sent to whatever staff member would pay out these rewards. As for contributions before we figure all of that out, I'll still be keeping track of them all just in case. Tl;dr -- choose a page, work on page, submit page, profit if approved. If this sounds like something you'd like to be apart of, please feel free to leave a reply here with your Discord or add/message me on mine at 52xp. You can alternatively join the official Runex Wiki Discord here: https://discord.gg/cb778NWsyE I hope to hear from you!

Summer Event 2023 We're excited to bring you all this year's summer event, which will be active until September 14th, 2023! This time around we went with a slightly different approach for activities and event weapon upgrades.. Scourge Dust Scourge dust is an event sub-currency that is obtainable as an uncommon drop from roaming event mobs. In addition, it can be obtained by the event side-activity (explained further below) The dust has multiple uses, which includes: Upgrading your event weapon (up to T3) Boosts damage, drop rate, and token amounts from event mobs while in inventory (the more you have, the higher the boosts) +0.1% damage per dust, cap of +25% (250 total dust in inventory) +0.5% drop rate per dust, cap of +25% (50 total dust in inventory) +0.5% tokens per dust, cap of +25% (50 total dust in inventory) Once you have a Tier 3 event weapon unlocked, you can also take them to the Purifying Sprite (at the Desert Camp) to convert them into summer tokens Nardah Spotlight During this event, all monsters inside of the Nardah minigame will drop summer tokens! Not only that, but during this spotlight there is new limited time content in the minigame: New, limited time summer nardah creatures A summer themed Cursed Mummy called the "Scourge Mummy" with a limited time loot table Also includes the new, limited time "Mystic sand cloak" and "Mystic sand partyhat" in its drop table Boosts from Scourge dust does not work for these monsters, however this spotlight does not have an hourly limit on tokens received. In addition, it is stackable with the Nardah cycle activity event Desert Mining Camp (side activity) The desert mining camp is a cooperative activity, where you can either create/join public sessions (other players will see it actively listed) or private sessions (only your friends will see it listed). Parties are limited to a size of 1-5 players Once you enter, there are multiple spawns of "Scourge beasts" and "Scourge golems". You will also take 20% of your max hitpoints as damage every 30 seconds from the intense summer heat inside of the camp! Stackable food is restricted Trading / dropping items is restricted Summoning / pets are restricted You are designated a "reward pool" from your work in the camp. In order to actually receive your reward pool, you must kill at least five scourge beasts with your event weapon before leaving or dying. At any time, you can go to the exit gate to view the rewards in your pool before deciding to exit. The camp is multi-combat and kill credit is shared between party members as long as you deal at least 30% of its health in damage. The rewards for killing the monsters are added to your reward pool, and are as followed: Scourge beasts add "Scourge essence" and x1-3 coin caskets to your reward pool Bonus rewards such as bags of riches, mboxes, chests, prize keys are also possible the longer you stay inside of the camp without leaving. Scourge golems add "Scourge stones" to your reward pool You can combine x25 stones and x2 essence for x1 Scourge dust! General activities This event also includes the standard seasonal activities, including: Roaming F2P / Wilderness mobs Global safe boss Wilderness boss Cycled activities Also, during the event, promotional items will give the following: Promo packages: 10,000 tokens Grand promo packages: 25,000 tokens Hunllef (NEW BOSS) This boss is going to be one of the most challenging pieces of content on Runex to date! As with its title on OSRS as the HCIM killer, it is sure to claim many HCIM lives within RuneX as well. It requires a 500m kill deposit in order to fight. (Note: The deposit can be automatically pulled from your bank, and it will also attempt to take plat tokens instead of coins) If you successfully kill the Hunllef, you will receive your deposit back when you return to the lobby. If you die to the boss or exit, you will lose the deposit. However, there are a few exceptions to this which will safeguard your deposit: You will be refunded if you leave the lair without attacking / provoking Hunllef You will be refunded if you die / leave / etc. while there is a system update timer running The mechanics work as followed: Hunllef has 2K HP, 800 Defence & a weakness to ranged It has four main attacks: Melee, Ranged, Magic, Tornadoes Ranged & Magic attacks have 4 ticks to pray before they land Tornadoes appear for 5 seconds and follow you. You will take damage if it reaches you. After half of its HP depletes, it will become "enraged" turning itself & its entire lair to a visually red crystalline Enraged phase deals more damage, and soaks 25% of damage taken Attack cycle is 66% chance to be melee during first phase and random selection during Enraged phase Other useful information for this boss fight include: The Hunllef has 2,000 HP, 800 defence & a weakness to ranged Cannons and summoning is prohibited inside of Hunllef's lair Hunllef is immune to soulsplit Luck tokens are useable for both the standard and superior forms Crystal weapons deal +25% damage and accuracy against Hunllef Rewards and Drops Hunllef brings some new items to the game, including but not limited to.. Crystal shards A common drop from hunllef, which can be used for crafting Bow of Feardhinen In addition, you can purchase color crystals & Tormented crystal shards from Llian in the lobby Enhanced crystal bow, seed, limbs, and sigil These three components can be attached along with x100 shards to create a Bow of Faerdhinen The bow can be colored using color crystals (which also colors its arrows, etc.) Tormented crystal shards Used to initate the fight against the superior Tormented Hunllef Crystal armor Hybrid melee / range armor set Can be colored using color crystals Each piece absorbs 10% of the damage from Hunllef's attacks Each piece gives +10% damage and accuracy with Crystal weapons The set bonus gives a further +20% damage and accuracy Blade of Saeldor Crystal 2H axe Seren halo Increases crystal weapon damage & accuracy by 5% per seren/crystal item worn Hunllef pet Increases crystal weapon damage & accuracy by 7.5% Tormented Hunllef (Superior/Challenge variant) Should you be strong enough to become proficient at the standard fight, a superior fight awaits as well. The superior fight requires a Tormented crystal in your inventory while entering the lair, which is dropped rarely by the Hunllef. In a general sense, it is much stronger than the standard Hunllef, but also includes some differences in mechanics.. Tormented Hunllef's standard attacks are 1 tick faster It has a higher amount of max tornadoes that can be actively in the lair Every 5 attacks, it will use its special "torment" attack The special attack spawns tornadoes and flings a huge flurry of projectiles around the arena The tormented hunllef will begin using its normal attacks again after 3 consecutive attacks with this special This tormented variant also includes some better items / rewards! Crystal of Iowerth Exclusive crystal only obtainable from superior variant to flex prowess of conquering the challenge It also slightly boosts the stats of the BoFA if attached All other colors purchaseable for 25 shards each via Lliann at Hunllef lair Tormented crystal sigil Used in the recipe for enchantment upgrade of Bow of Faerdhinen & Blade of Saeldor Tormented hunllef pet Increases crystal weapon damage & accuracy by 12.5% Suggested setups Highly suggested to use tank & soak gear/pets until you become proficient at the fight Hydra leather gear Rampart blessing Terror pet etc. Misc. information All new weapons work with Crystal blessing New achievements (Way of the Wolf I, II & III) New c-logs (Tormented/superior has a log as well) New moneymaking daily (added as a "hard" task) Patch Notes NEW accomplishment overlay! You will now receive an accomplishment popup when you do the following: Receive a new item in a collection log Complete an achievement Complete a daily money making activity Hunger games Reduced the shop prices of prize chest, pet box, minigame mbox Reduced daily moneymaking task from 3 wins to 1 win, increased medals from reward from 25 to 50 Winner now receives a 'Glorious casket' which gives guaranteed prize tickets/point boxes and a chance for mboxes, prize chests, epic bonus chests, and rarely prize keys/mchests 2nd place now receives a Prize chest instead of a point mystery chest Hydra gear changes Damage reduction effect increased from 15% to 20% Damage immunity effect increase from 1/15 chance to 1/10 Fixed capless weapons in PvP (dragon longsword, shadowrend, etc)

Hiya @roberty You forget to mention in your post that you were for sure going to charge back donations which bumps up giving your accounts away being a regular account ban to being an IP/UID ban. Whether you were being sneaky or not doesn't negate the fact that you committed an offense against our rules that results in an IP ban which you would need to appeal to be able to be allowed back. In any case, your appeal was declined, you can feel free to post on other forums as we don't just randomly ban people for no reason. Runex has been around since 2017. If we banned people for no reason we wouldn't still be here. Just to add, our appeals are handled every Sunday here. They are also the last thing to get handled other than daily things on the server that get handled. Once a persons appeal has been replied to, they're promptly closed and the person either has to submit another appeal in 30 days. You were also banned back then for spreading false information in our discord and causing an issue after being removed from the server. Like I've said above, we do not ban for no reason.

Hello fellow player of RuneX, Did you lose your PIN or your PASSWORD? No worries, let's get the solved shall we? Please read the following carefully to regain access! Here on RuneX, we work with a special "ticket system". The ticket system informs the owner and admin about a situation in-game. Each player, alongside their issue, will have their own respective ticket and will get looked at individually. The staff team, who submit the tickets, will get a reply back on that ticket as soon it's accepted or denied. If you created a forum topic you'll be notified on there right away with the outcome. Please take note this takes a bit of time depending on the number of requests, appeals, and other tickets. Refrain yourself from making multiple topics and we ask you not to PM Ryan or Ramzi about these situations. Not in-game nor on forums! This will sever in a punishment and your appeal/reset will automatically be denied. Regards, The staff-team How do I get started? Please create a new topic in the Help section with the following format: Title: I've lost my PASS / PIN - Account Name Message with the format: Account name you lost PASS/PIN: I like to have my PIN/PASS reset: Example Note from Luca Brasi / Levi - Feel free to pm any staff member in-game once you followed those steps so we can be as quick as possible to submit the ticket for you to get you sorted out.

Menaphite akh boss - Nardah rework suggestion The Menaphite Akh The menaphite akh boss would be added as a new addition to the nardah mini-game. To gain access to this fight, the player must use a "Cursed tomb key" on a special sarcophogus inside of their Nardah instance. The first change to the Nardah Mini-game: All nardah related NPC's will drop a new type of stackable item called "Ancient energy". The amounts dropped will scale with the difficulty of the npc, going from mummys dropping very little to chaos mummies dropping the most. It can also be found by looting sarcophogi, with the amounts increasing based on the type of key used. This will not replace the current sarcophogus drops, but be an additional reward the same as with the npc drops. Simply running the mini-game, slaying the monsters and opening sarcophagi will now passively be supplying the player with this Ancient Energy. This energy can in turn be used to turn keys into a cursed tomb key variant. Each key can be upgraded, however the type of key indicates the amount of energy required. (Bronze requiring the most, gold the least) The 2nd change: Special sarcophagi. These will receive a red hue/outline around them to tell them apart. First off, the current sand mummy spawnable sarcophogi will be removed. This means those specific 3 places that had a chance of spawning one will no longer do so. Instead every nardah run will now have 5 random sarcophogi be a "special" one. These are randomized in every run and will also contain randomized insides. - 3 Of them will be simple loot/trap type sarcophogi. These now have increased rates at uniques, higher amounts of energy, as well as a rare chance of getting any of the otherwise limited obtainable uniques related to the mini-game. Using a key on these special sacro's will further enhance the odds and energy amounts. At the same time however, they may also spawn a sand mummy just like before, allowing you to kill them for their uniques and additional energy. - An empty sarcophogus. This just gives nothing, simply to make it less predictable as to which one contains what. - The Menaphite Akh's resting place. This will appear as an empty sarcophogus if opened normally, but can become the boss spawn if the player used a cursed tomb key instead. In order to find out which one contains the boss, the player would have to use the key on all 1-5 sarco's until they guess the correct one. Using this key will add 2 minutes to the nardah timer and spawn the Menaphite Akh boss. > As a whole, this part of the suggestion would make the entire nardah layout more interesting and worth exploring compared to the current setup where the main focus simply goes to finding the best NPC's. Time will matter more and so will tactics to do the right things in the right order. The boss fight: The boss will be spawned with 2000 hp in a solo and 4000 hp in a duo. It has relatively low defensive stats, but instead makes use of protection prayers and mechanics to make for an interesting fight. It's attacks: - It'll have a few regular ranged/magic attacks that it does most consistently throughout the fight. These will have seperate animations/projectiles to use protection prayers against. - Death Stare. The menaphite akh will shout "Stare into the abyss!". This will cause a special attack to activate that will deal from 70 up to 90 damage to the players. This can be prevented through 2 methods: 1. Looking away. By turning your character away from the Menaphite Akh before the attack goes off, the player will remain unaffected. This is simply done by clicking a tile in the opposite direction of where akh is standing. (This doesn't need to be super precise as long as it's away from him. F.e if hes standing north your character needs to look south-west, south or south-east to avoid it.) 2. Shadow barraging the Menaphite Akh. This needs to be done quickly after his initial shout, and the barrage can also never splash. He'll shout "I cannot see!" indicating it worked preventing the attack from going off. - Shadows. At every 30% of health lost, the Menaphite Akh will spawn 4 shadows nearby, but with enough space that some running will be necessary. The player(s) must find the real Menaphite Akh to continue the fight. All shadows will be killed instantly when attacked with a melee weapon, or take 200 damage through either ranged or magic attacks. These shadows will attack the player with a shadow barrage spell, dealing not only magic damage but also lowering the players stats & run with each attack. These will have a pretty long range, making it so that the player must quickly get to all the shadow and defeat them to stop these attacks. Only when you have defeated 3 shadows will the 4th turn back into the Menaphite Akh to continue the fight. - Final stand. Instead of spawning shadows once more, the Menaphite Akh will now entire a final stand of enragement at 25% health, increasing it's attack speed as well as shortening the duration of launching any more death stares during this time. Droptable: The boss will always roll 3 times per player. - The lesser rare nardah items (mummy pieces, nardah robes, etc) - An uncommon chance of the more rare items. - And then just the more usual stuff like RC items, huge casket and alike. Just an overall nice droptable that makes it rewarding to kill for the more regular loot as well. New uniques: > Stone of Akh. This new stone can be used on a Chaos Sceptre (i) to create a new Sceptre of Akh. The sceptre now becomes similiar to a storm trident, giving it it's own autocasted spell that targets multiple enemies close by at once, dealing very high damage against Desert & undead type monsters such as: - All nardah creatures. It also deals 2x damage while inside the nardah mini-game. - The kalphite queen & other kalphite monsters - Vorkath - Revenants - Barrows brothers These aren't all necessarily classified within those terms for all items, I just believe it to be a reasonable list of monsters for it to work well on. > Keris Partisan. https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Keris_partisan This will just be an empty version of it. To upgrade it to breaching/sun/corruption keris', the player must acquire them from TOA. It'd still be a decent weapon against kalphites and scarab monsters on it's own for melee. Additional special effect: Should be able to hit through the KQ her prayer. Could be with decreased accuraccy but even on osrs the KQ prayers aren't "real" prayers, but more of an indication of it's weakness. While changing the way it works on runex entirely would make it too easy, I do think the Keris having this effect would be reasonable and also make it more desirable overall to obtain. * If it's already planned to be obtained somehow else due to TOA, this could just be an entirely different weapon with just the effect of being good against KQ. > Menaphite Akh Pet. PvM: Has a 1/10 chance to trigger a Shadow Curse against your target. When cursed, the target will become weaker to hits from the player. Each attack will now do an accuraccy check twice, resulting in the highest damage passing through, while also increasing your max hit by 25% for 10 seconds. This effect cannot go off a second time while the target is already cursed and it has a 20 second cooldown before being able to proc again after it has worn off. A message appears when you curse a target, as well as when it fades off, in your chatbox. In simple terms: - At a 1/10 chance to go off, the player gains a double accuraccy check and +25% damage for 10 seconds, which cannot go off twice at the same time with a 20 second cooldown after. Example: Let's say you're using a holy rapier (i) with a max hit of 100 and you proc the effect. Your max hit now becomes a 125, and each accuraccy check is done twice. You attack a target: 1) If the hit doesn't miss it'll roll what your hit becomes: a 25. 2) If this hit also doesn't miss it'll roll what your hit becomes: a 59. As the 2nd roll was the highest, the damage you deal will be a 59 for that hit. Additionally: I also believe this effect should NOT work on unyielding, inquisitor or executioner procs. Basically any "additional" hits. I feel like it'd be a ton of extra work to not only add that but also for the server to do that many checks each time someone attacks when an enemy is cursed. On top of that I believe it'd be too strong. The 25% extra damage could be applied on the additional hits, this could be discussed depending on how strong it is. Only checking your main hit also balances it out more for all 3 styles rather than melee having an upper hand due to executioner. And lastly for comparison sake: On a rapier proc you'd get approximately 4 hits in during this time, assuming the hit that procs it counts. If it's the next hit after proccing, you'd only get 3 attacks in during the time of this effect with a 4 tick weapon. Although the effect is on the strong side, it also has enough counter balance to not be considered completely overpowered due to it's timers. PvP: Could be a watered down version of the above mentioned effect, have simply no effect, or just do something else. This is definitely not a main concern nor have I put any thought into it, but I did atleast want to adress it. The effect itself would definitely be too strong for PvP, but I don't have a good counter-offer for it either. Potential difficulty changes to the mini-game NPC's as a whole. This is more of an additional thing that isn't perse necessary to any of the rest, but I do believe it'd make the mini-game more fun and less "braindead" so to say. While I don't believe nardah itself should necessarily be hard, I do believe it can be a bit more interactive than it is currently. The npc's and mechanics are bland and don't require a lot of thinking or even action for players to complete. Some changes I'd like to suggest: - Afflicted mummies: These will now leave a trail of lava tiles as they move around. These will stick around for approximately 6 ticks or 3.6 seconds. Standing on these tiles will continuously deal damage to the player, as well as drain their run energy and prayer points. In order to cross the areas they roam, the player must be careful to not stand on these tiles until they disapear. - Scarab mages: These can now freeze the player for roughly 5 seconds. Combined with the dangerous lava tiles from the afflicted mummies, these can now create a potentially deadly combination. - Sand mummies: These will now attack with ranged and magic. These 2 attacks will now deal significantly more damage, advising you to correctly use your protection prayers against these attacks to reduce this by 90%. The 2 attacks will have slightly different animations as well as projectiles to signal what prayer to use. - Cursed mummies: These mummies will now be able to attack with ranged as well when the player is out of reach dealing slight chip damage through prayer, and around the 15-20 range when off prayer. This is simply to remove the ability to farcast them and deal with no repercussions. It'd still be advised to do this as their attacks will still drain run energy as they do currently. But on top of that, they'll now be able to put a new type of status effect on the player, called a "curse". When cursed the player will temporarily not be able to use any protection prayers for the span of 10 seconds. The player can counter this effect by equipping 3 different god items, which turns the curse on the mummy instead. Your protection prayers will now block all damage for 10 seconds instead. This attack will have a special animation before launching to indicate it coming, with a small time frame to equip your items. These items can be any of the god rune armor sets, d'hide sets or robes (mitre/crozier set). This exludes everything that'd considered a god item for the ring/halo boosts such as ancestral.
