I'm going to name just a few off the top of my head. If you can think of anything else please pm me in game or comment on here and ill update this. - Coin/money pouch: More convenient than constantly going to bank. Especially when trying to buy items from TP. - Pest Control: Another way of getting void or void could get taken out of runex store. (Could also add elite void. being donor could give more points per game (would increase donor numbers)) - Move money making tracking bar to a different location: It wont block the PM's - Rev Caves: More wilderness content. Spreads out player base in wildi rather than having everyone at Lava Demons. - PK Points system: Create a shop that has pker gear. (Would possibly get more players active in wilderness and so people would stop complaining about the "horrible pvp achievements") - Increase gambling pass price: Up the price to 100m or more. (Prevents new players from raging on first day and makes them actually play the game before losing their bank.) - New items in Crystal Chest: Just need a wider variety of "rares" in there. (Add LFS for @Logical so he can finally get one) (Actual items to add; Noted row's, iban staff, task bottles) - Raids: Just because its needed - Dragon two slayer boss: The new dragonbolts would be nice and could even add a random new item for people to try and get) - Bloodhound pet from tasks: can be won from any level task. (new cool pet to acquire) -Add Trading Post to Elite Zone. (I'm not sure why regular donor zone has one but EZONE doesn't. Also could add better drops to brutal green dragons or switch them for a different monster.) - Add more bosses to VIP zone: It really doesn't matter what boss but more needs to be added in there. - More entitlements for VIP and Legendary donors. (As it stands now, there's not a huge difference between the two and I personally believe deters players from reaching that donor status which is sad) - More agility zones: Could add rooftop training. Please let me know if you want anything else added. V/R Stickeyd

So I mentioned making a post about a 'Community Manager' in my last post, so here it is. For the sake of time and understanding I will note a few things here; I am not sure of all of the staff teams exact roles, for all I know we may already have someone labelled as a Community Manager, Probably Ramzi if that is the case. This post is not to take away from their role, to suggest that are not doing their job or to replace them. The title 'Community Manager' is just a place holder title that I think best describes the roles this person would undertake. I will refer to Community Manager in this post more commonly as 'CM' To save a bit of time and space. Lets get in to it. There is no mistaking that the RuneX forums and in-game are lacking something, now this something isn't vital nor required, but it is something that is hurting us overtime in the long run. What we are missing is interaction between the higher tier staff (Nate, Ramzi and Ryan). These interactions could include, but are not limited to; Generally logging on in-game and talking to people, Replying to or creating posts on the forums, These could be Behind the Scenes posts, Replying to Suggestions, Applications, Introductions. Hosting in-game events more often. The list can go on. But we all need to realise some key facts, Ryan, Ramzi and Nate are incredibly busy, they run 2 servers, they have real jobs, lifes, families etc. They put a great deal of their time on the server just making sure it stays up and the updates keep flowing. I think we can all commend them for that. Not only this, but they do a lot of the things I want to suggest when they get spare time. Nate often logs in-game to talk and see how things are going, All three of them have replied to both of the QnA posts made by @Wayne and there are countless other instances of them being active in the general community. Those times when Nate logs in, the players blow up, seeing one of the big dogs. Those QnA posts are some of the most popular posts and quite frankly my favourite posts on the forums. But the big issue is that they don't always have the time to do these things, to a regular player, it can look like a month goes by without the owners being active (apart from the help section) which is hurting us over time. I just want to make it very clear that when they do these things, it is in their time, they are not obligated to do it. I respect and thank them greatly for this. So here is what I am suggesting; I would love to see either a player or member of our current staff team promoted to the rank of 'Community Manager'. This person could also be someone outsourced from SpawnPK or even hired. This CM would have a few roles; All of the roles regarding staff applications laid out in my last post, Hosting Weekly or Bi-weekly QnA's for the entire staff team in which all players on the server can ask questions to any/all of the staff team in a forum post, these questions will be collected and sent to the respective staff members by the CM and the answers will be formatted along side the questions in a forum post for all to see. I think this would be an amazing addition to the server and the brunt of the work load for this would be on the CM and not the owners/other staff. Creating Behind the scenes posts to help fill in the gap between updates whenever necessary. It is no secret that updates tend to slow down this time of year, Creating behind the scenes posts would be an amazing way to fill in the gap between updates. It would be so beneficial, especially in showing the players that their patience is justified. Just like the QnA, the brunt of the work would be on the CM, all he would need is either a few screenshots and a brief explanation from Ryan or access to the test world (If that is a real thing). Responding to player suggestions on an official capacity. The suggestions on the forums actually act in a very similar fashion to applications, in the sense that most of the ones seen by the owners are sent directly by the staff. The community manager would have the role of collecting all player suggestions and filtering them. They would then send the good suggestions to the owners to get feedback. This feedback would be mixed in with the CM's feedback and then replied on the post. This would be extremely beneficial as it would show future suggestors that the team takes a real interest in feedback/suggestions(Not that we don't already, it's just it would be much better coming from the higher ups or a community manager), increasing the amount of suggestions we would get. It would just be healthy for RuneX in general. The CM would also be responsible for handling contact between players and the owners, this would be especially useful for things such as OSRS donations, interacting with legitimate YouTubers. Also any other general contact for the owners. This would be useful as there are often a lot of players who 'need to speak to Ryan' but are often only needing to contact a general staff member etc. The CM handling contact would allow legitimate contact requests to be faster and less required contact request not waste their time. The CM would also be responsible for handling official RuneX events. We have had some official events in the past and they are always great fun to be a part of, but they are slightly unpopular. This may be due to simple lack of advertising the event, mostly they were just featured on the forums. A CM would be in-game advertising the event, enticing players be to a part of it. Events are extremely healthy for RuneX, a CM would increase the frequency of these. Not to mention just the sheer fact that a 'higher tier' staff would be heavily active in both the forum and in-game would breathe so much life into both areas. There are so many more roles and responsibilities a Community Manager could hold and I think it would be extremely beneficial to look towards finding someone to fill that position. Please let me know what you think, any feedback or additions would be great. P.S. Super tired when I typed this up, sorry for the lazy writing. Edit: I love that people are supporting me, But that is not the goal of this post, I just want the rank implemented, as long as we get a community manager who fills the role completely I don't mind who it is.
